I am soooo clumsy - I was shutting the gate earlier, chatting away to everyone in the car and what did I do???

Shut the gate on my heel

There is not a lot of meat on your heel, so I've skinned it nicely there is a huuuge bruise, all around my heel and it hurt not a lot of blood, sadly, otherwise I'd really milk it

But heck, it really is sore, I've had to hoick my jean leg up, so it's not rubbing.

Wonder how long I can say to Grumpy that I can't can't stand/wash up??? and you need to take me out for food?

So....it's the Christmas lights switch on 2 miles away and that means more blinkin' fireworks

I have never known a cat to sleep for so long - Molly came in this morning, found my cardi, made a bed and is still asleep

I've had a rant at some bloke this afternoon.

When we moved here there was no landline so no existing phone number. We were allocated one and shortly afterwards we started getting calls for someone called Brenda Tomlinson. Always from mobility companies or health related calls. Over the course of almost six years those calls have dwindled to almost none, as I've explained the situation re the number to each caller and asked to be removed from their database.
One has kept calling though and they're getting more frequent now.

I asked to speak to a manager today and was given a number. I called him and he played dumb, so my inner Dominic Littlewood kicked in and he went from denying knowing what I was talking about and saying that his company had called for the first time today (total lie, it's Mobility Care in Nottingham and I'd remembered the name and location even though there's nothing to be found online with that name) to apologising profusely, agreeing to immediately remove our number from the database and then wishing me a Happy Christmas.

Still reported him to the ICO for making unsolicited calls and continuing with them when asked to stop though

That heel I bashed last week is still healing, or was until I had to wear shoes and trainers, as it's so cold and wet here.

So muggins is going to have one cold foot and one snuggy warm foot, until it's all healed

And also walk oddly, as one flip-flop on left fopot and one trainer or shoe on t'other
