What are we reading in November?

Mum gave me a big fat Val McDermid best seller (I haven't read anything from her)

The Mermaids Singing/The Wire In The Blood.

I've just this minute bought The Black Moon, the fifth book in the Poldark series which picks up the story just after the present TV series will end, with the birth of Elizabeth's child. I did read all of the books many years ago, but wanted to reread this one 8-) :) :geek:

I am reading The Japanese Lover by Isabel Allende. Never thought I would read one of her books, but am enjoying it.

I have read the first two parts of Chris Mullen MP's edited diaries from the New Labour years, and have just ordered the third and final book from the library.

Very readable, wickedly funny in places, absolutely fascinating ....

I spent some time on the city yesterday and picked up Kevin J Anderson's first two books in the Saga of Shadows. The first one is The dark between the stars.

I enjoyed his saga of the seven suns series and this uses some of the same characters. So I'll see where it picks up.

I have, however, also updated my ebook set on my phone and added back in a hundred or so books that were missing. I'm also going to add all the Clive Cussler books I have.

I've just looked in my Keven J Anderson folder and found he wrote The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Given that I've seen the film I supposed I should read the book. More additions.
