Good morning. :D

No run today...I can't be bothered!

Hairdresser Eduardo is coming round at 10am and once he's gone I'll finish my reports. I have 16 left to do and will sigh a deep sigh when they are done.

Homework club 4.30 - 6.30 then meting Don for our usual Friday night beers and tapas. :)

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally,

Reports... I hate them. Had to do my monthly project reporting yesterday.

I'm flying home this afternoon, heading to Stansted soon and working from the Airport rather than going to work. It is a better use of time. Although I'm still trying to get rid of my headache from the wine and beer I drank at the Agency Christmas bash they threw last night.

Mrs S is running a Scottish Country Dance workshop for our French dancers tonight and I'll go and help her. She picks me up at Tours at 4pm so we have time.

I did that with her two weeks ago too and my feet were so sore afterwards that I hobbled for a week. Well they should get stronger and hurt less. That's the theory anyway.

Have a great day all, I'm off to lay my head down for half an hour to see if I can kill this headache.

Good morning Ally, Suff and all! It's dull and damp here this morning, nowhere near as lovely as the bright frosty ones we've had this week.

Having a frame delivered today for Joe. He's claimed my signed Eric Cantona shirt for on his bedroom wall and it needs reframing. I told him I was leaving it to him in my will but he's decided to have his inheritance a little early. John's home so I'm hoping, once he's awake, that he'll wait for the parcel while I walk Billy.

We're doing the outside Christmas lights today. We just have icicle lights over the bay window and some on a tree. A few houses on the close have done their lights this week so we're looking a little bare!

Safe journey Suff!

Have a good day all!

Morning all :)

Hope you get your reports finished Ally :)

Jo - "OOOH, AHHHH, CANTONAAAA!" :D ;)  Glad you didn't have to pop your clogs for Joe to get it! ;)

Morning Suff, nice to 'see' you :)

Well it's much warmer here this morning, no frost :) I have to go and get 'cooked' again, am starting to build up a very slight tan, which of course will be totally wasted as it is far too cold to show any flesh :?   Then I need to come home and do some housework - steam the floors and hoover! Mick will be home tonight, have really missed him :ugeek: ;) :)

Have a good day everyone :) xxxx

Good morning all, dull day here after a few beautiful days. Up and about early as Mr Osc got an invitation to play golf a 45 minute drive away. The invite came quite late yesterday so there wasn't time to get organised, otherwise he could have gone on the train. On the way back I have to pop to Argos to collect something I reserved yesterday, then home for a while before I head off to collect him. We are going to a Christmas social dance tonight, so hopefully there will be time for a little nap at some stage :x Have a good day everyone :)

Morning everyone

Fog slowly lifting and everything is damp. And not warm either

Hope the headache goes soon Suff - orange juice, coffee and a paracetamol might help.

Lol Jo 8-)

I am really going to do the ironing today, I keep getting side-lined

We had planned on going out for dinner tonight, but both of us have furry and sore throats and coughing a bit, so best not to.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Jo, Cantona was best when he played for Leeds!

Hope your head gets better soon Suff, if paracetamol doesn't work half an hour of an eightsome reel should!

The money came through from the house sale yesterday. What had happened was that one side of the bank said "Yes, that is sufficient ID, no problem" and passed the movement of funds to the other side of the bank who said "There's not enough ID here..."

Neither side bothered to inform us, however.

ANYWAY, all done now.

MrsC has gone to the hairdresser and after that we might have some time for ourselves today. We might have a trip out somewhere.

The weather is dead calm here; not a breath of wind and not freezing either.

Morning all :)

Dry but dull here.

We had a lovely day yesterday and really enjoyed the show. Got back here about 11pm had a nice warm milky coffee, caught up with Sleb and then went off to bed. Guess who had a nice lie in this morning ;)

Oh and while we were in London, Chris and Drew came round and finished off the garden, so that's it we're finished :D :D :D We will have to sort the borders and tidy up the back part, but there's no rush for that, it can wait until the spring. Everything else is sorted :) :) :)

It's E's birthday today, not sure what we're doing yet, will play it by ear, but it's bound to involve a nice meal and a bottle of bubbly.

Hope you all have a good day :)

Evening all!!

Busy busy yet again - my bank account is crying :o Was out of the house by 10am, got parked fine but there is a Christmas fair on in Durham all over the weekend so several roads are closed in the city centre and the car park was pretty full when I arrived. I got a few more things (still lots to get!) and flopped down for a coffee before heading to the out of town place to get a new tree and a few more bits. Got home about 3, quick cuppa then I NEEDED to do a Nordic walk, as I haven't been to class for the past two Thursdays (too much to do!) and so Tom (who had taken a half day) went with me.

Got back and did some ironing and hoovering, then I've baked a cake to take with us to my brother's on Sunday, a coconut and lime drizzle cake (it's in the oven as I type) - Jen is at work and Tom is out so I have a nice evening to myself :) Might have a bath later and read my Kindle - I long to have a day off where I can sit with a cuppa in the conservatory and read for a bit - but I don't have time! My car is filthy too - might get Tom to wash it tomorrow.....or we might be having Lily to stay overnight. Lewis has gone to London with his 'Glamma' and Aunty Amy, they're on the way now 8-)

Have a lovely evening all xxx
