Good morning Monday (Boxing Day)

Postby Ally » 26 Dec 2016, 05:54

Good morning.

We woke up at 6am!

When it gets light we'll go out for a walk on the sea front and have breakfast somewhere. 8-)

A beautiful day is forecast so we're going to be out and about all day just enjoying it all. :D :D :D

The most challenging thing I'll do today is choose which restaurant to eat at tonight.

Have a good day everyone - and give your loved ones an extra hug. xx

Morning all :)

Looks like we're in for another bright day.

Hope you all had a lovely day yesterday. We didn't sit down to dinner until about 3pm then were so full up we couldn't manage another bite all day, E promptly fell asleep for a couple of hours   Great TV on the beeb all evening. Bake Off, Dr Who, Strictly, Call the Midwife all nicely topped off by Mrs Browns Boys :D :D :D

Up already as we're expecting Z,M and the boys around 10 this morning. Think we're in for a hectic fun day :D :D :D

Hope you all have a good Boxing Day Image

Good morning all, it's sunny here although colder than yesterday. I'm the only one up so far.

We'll walk Billy once John's up and then we're off to have lunch with my parents and, I think, my sister.

Saundra, I wondered when you said the other day if it was your phone-loving family who would be visiting you today :o Hope you have a lovely day xx

Looking forward to Outnumbered tonight!

Have a good day all!

Morning all, lovely day here too, will try and get out for a walk. We had a lovely time yesterday, visited Miss Osc and family in the morning, then my sister came here in the afternoon and we had our dinner at 4pm, yummy it was too. Cleared up, then watched Strictly and Call the Midwife. Sister went home after that, and we went for a walk around the block then back to watch Mrs Brown's Boy. So shocked to hear about George Michael before we went to bed :o

My friend L is over from Boston, she has a little apartment here now, so we are going to visit her about 5.30 this evening - thankfully it only about a three minute walk away, so we don't even have to take out the car :D Enjoy Boxing Day everyone - we call it St Stephen's Day here.

Greetings all. Apologies for not being online and wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas these past days. I've had two really really amazing days with Karl, Nadine and the kids - dinner at mine Christmas eve, then Christmas day just being lazy at theirs - bliss. Far far far to much to eat and drink but what a lovely time it was. Today was probably the laziest day I've had in a while - up late, a bit of pootling about, an afternoon snooze and now just sitting in the lounge doing very little... life is good.

Christmas Eve morning I created a WhatsApp group that included all my family (well those with smart phones at least), mom, siblings, nephews and nieces and we've had such a fab time 'chatting' to each other and just being 'technologically together'. Technology is amazing when you're split so far apart, family in Germany, South Africa, niece in Australia, and us here in the UK.

Hope you all have a relaxing Boxing Day afternoon / evening

from a very contented and very happy Me(ria)d x

Glad you've had a lovely time Ria. We've got a Whatsapp group too - we've called it fambocom.

We went paddling in the sea today.

Back at the hotel now deciding where to dine this evening. We've had the most marvellous time here in Nerja.
