What Are We Reading In January?

Postby JoM » 01 Jan 2017, 07:54

I started The Children Of Lovely Lane by Nadine Dorries last night. I've read quite a few of her books and really like her writing. This is the sequel to one I read last year.

Still dipping in and out of my Poldark book, The Black Moon. I finished The Girl on the Train before Christmas - wow what a twist! :D

My sister likes her books, might give her a go.

I'm reading a Nick Alexander atm, not read him before, but up to now I'm not sure whether or not I'm enjoying it. The Other Son. It was recommended for me according to my kindle selections.

That's also on my recommendations, but I'll see how I enjoy this one first x

I've read The Four Streets books on my Kindle, Shell. Thanks so much for the offer though, hopefully someone else will enjoy the book :)

Gal, there was a Nick Alexander book which was coming up at 99p last night so I had a look through his list of books and, if you manage to get on okay with it, there's a short story sequel to The Other Son.

I've just read a book on my Kindle - Wide awake, Asleep by Louise Wise, a Facebook friend who some of you probably know as well :) She was poppylouise on Femail, and was on DD too I think perhaps.

Anyway it's a time travel book, about a woman in a coma after a car accident, who travels back in time to alter her present. I really enjoyed it :)

Just finished the Nadine Dorries book. Got to wait until the Summer now for the sequel to it.

I'm now reading, and giggling away at, Nomad by Alan Partridge.
