Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 05 Jan 2017, 05:36

Good morning. :D

Up at the crack of sparrows to take Conor to the airport - he's flying to East Midlands to be with Craig, Jacob & Leilani who have all returned from their various travels.

He's meeting his g/f Lucia at the airport at 7.15 and as I type it's 6.30, he's still in bed and hasn't packet yet.

Back home for coffee and will go for a quick run when it gets light. :D

Forecast for a beautifully sunny day which is great as it's the Eve of Kings. The processions start promptly at 5.30 and wend their way through town throwing sweets out for the children. I love it as Papa Noel is expected to visit the children tonight if they have been good and there is always such a lovely atmosphere. ;) ;)

We'll head to Jose's after that to meet up with friends for a few beers and will pick up a campero takeaway on the way home. :D

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning! It's a cold one today!

John was up at some ridiculous hour for a flight to Belfast for the day, he'll be back around 10 tonight. Joe's in college all day so I must wake him when I've posted this.

Ally, that made me laugh about Conor  They're the same here! I was seething with John the night before we went on holiday in October. He still hadn't packed at Midnight and we had an early start and a long haul flight ahead of us and I wanted to go to bed, because I thought it might be a sensible idea to actually get some sleep, but couldn't because he was stomping around the bedroom sorting out what he needed until gone 1am
Anyway, safe journey to Conor and Lucia, and have a lovely day yourself :)

Have a good day all!

Safe flight to John Jo.

I'm afraid the 'leave the packing to the last minute' stems from me. I like to shower and get ready then pack even for an early morning flight.

Does Don's head in but there you go.

I've just checked and their flight took off at 8.25 exactly the time it should have. They'll land at 10.25 and Craig will be there to meet them and they're there till Sunday afternoon so lots of time together. :D :D

I'm leaving for my run now with the smell of fresh toasted baguette making me wish I wasn't!

Morning :)
Freezing here, thick layer of ice on Minnie's water bucket and all the cars.
Hope Conor managed to stuff his carrier bag Ally

I was up early too, I have a scan this morning. Have to be there for 10.15, you have an hour to drink a big container of liquid, and can't eat for 3 hours before. But I have pills to take, that have to be taken after food, hence having to be up well in time to eat - after a coffee of course ;)
Thankfully no restriction on drinking, so am now having another coffee :)

Hope your days all go well, enjoy the procession Ally

Ally, what is a campero takeaway? It sounds nice whatever it is!

Good morning all. MrsC has cooked a lamb stew for her dad, we're taking that over this morning. then shopping and getting a passport renewal form for our son. He's off to Vegas this spring for a stag do. Honestly, in my day it were a night at the pub! These young 'uns..!

Have a good day everyone.

:o  :o
I usually start packing about 2 days before I'm due to head off anywhere; and always have a list in my head of what needs to still be packed. If I had to leave it to last minute I just know I'd forget the clean knickers :D

Rather nippy this morning. Put the cover over the car yesterday (first time this winter) and it really does make a difference not having to spend ages scraping...
Bossman is back today so we'll see how the day pans out - hopefully nothing overly drastic and it's a quiet lull back into it all

have a lovely day all x

Thanks all, really they're the ones who need the luck, finding a vein that will work to get in the iodine contrast dye, but they're pretty good and call in an anaesthetist :)

Ah sorry Ally, wrong twin 8-)
