New £1 coin

I wonder if all supermarket trollies which need a coin/token will need the mechanism changing or if we'll all need a trolley coin, or an old £1 coin

Jo, was meant to reply yesterday and forgot... the article that I read said that yes, the trolley's will take the new coin so it must be similar in size

Thanks Ria, I know that after the new £5 note was introduced there were some self service checkouts which couldn't accept them straightaway
