Just call me

a culinary goddess 8-) 8-)

and a nasty neighbour ;) 8-)

This morning, I had a cooking head on, so made some gert scrummy naan breads, onion bhajis, a cauli, chick pea, potato and onion curry, prepped the chicken for dinner, made the lovely Portuguese dessert we like and asked Grumpy to hoover and dust.

The vacuuming, very impressed 8-) The dusting? He sort of spread the dust around the tv and stand  :? and ignored the rest of the furniture

So anyway, down to the bar, as I needed veg.

As we came home, I espied our not so nice neighbours - them of the ducks and darking bogs :cute: :cute: :cute:

He completely, but completely ignored me - as he does, when the situation doesn't suit him - and I told them that we and Jose Felipe are not happy with their ducks eating his (Jose Felipe's) sheep food. And then Brian trampelling all over it, to get his ducks off the grass and lupins.

Grumpy disappeared, as he knew I was so angry

They will be finishing off clearing their side of (they've claimed it, they can have it) fence and will also clip the flying ducks wings.

For the ones who stroll through the fence, they will repair the fence and also put extra wire in it.

We'll see..........................

I didn't mean that it/they would go in the oven.... but the threat might get some action going on the trespassing front. ;)

I would look after them and I would also enjoy the eggs till things were resolved. 8-)

I actually had to laugh out loud the other day when L told me that they've only had on lot of eggs    from the ducks and also the chickens :o :o and so they've bred them

They really have no idea just how inconsiderate they are - or their animals.

The boxer attacked our nice neigbour the other day, as he protected his dog from the boxer. No apology from the neighbours, or recompense for the ripped trousers.

They have 4 dogs. One is the mad boxer, the others are locally bred rafeiros. They, basically, are guard dogs and are normally let loose around your sheep, goats. They sleep during the day and then guard at night. So they keep 2 of them locked up and then take them for walks - on a lead   The other one is now a house dog   and that is the one who barked for an hour and a half yesterday morning, at the fence, as she could see a farmer 4 fields away

As for the ducks, he didn't want to clip their wings, as they could be got at my other animals. So I told him that's what rafeiros were for, to protect them. Apparently, their rafeiros actually attack their ducks and chickens and kill them    (sorry, but it did make me laugh)

He won't keep any of the animal in an enclosure, he wants a free range animal.  And when I said that donkeys are happier if they have another one - their answer was "oh, we don't want another donkey, one is enough"

The ducks - I don't even like duck - but L would be happy if they all went. B is a different matter.

It's basically now, the principle of the matter. They think it's funny that their ducks prefer our land - the grass is greener, maybe it's because they don't like being chased by the dogs - have been two of the explanations - but I don't want ducks, I don't want their ducks and I don't see why Felipe, at his expense has ploughed, looked after, sown the seeds and now wants to put his sheep on our land, for their ducks to eat the produce.

Sorry, rant over.
