did he kill her with intent ?
or by accident
iv allways admired his atheletic ability
and he has overcome great odds in his sport
but saw his temper when he was beaten in an event at the olympics
time will tell about his future but whatever happens im sure he wont end up in a south african jail

I think he killed her in a fit of temper. That makes sense from what I've heard and read; his story of "I got up to get a fan.. I'd left the window open.. (why,if you are scared of indruders?) walked back into the room, didn't notice that Reeva wasn't in bed.. heard a noise.. shot through the toilet door.."
That takes some believing, to me.
Why would an intruder hide in the toilet? Why was Reeva sitting on the toilet fully dressed, not using it? Why had she locked the door? Why would you fire through a door anyway?
It's a tragedy for them both, but the real victim here is Reeva Steenkamp. Pistorious may have ruined his life, but he's the one who ruined it.

He is very cold, very hard and totally unbelievable, to claim that he would like to shake the hands of Ms Steenkamp's family is inhuman. He has only been given bail because of who he is, any normal South African would have been slammed up till trial.

I think it was anger! I think the poor girl locked herself in the loo for safety and he gunned her down, through the locked door. I can't even begin to imagine how frightened she must have been :(

Apparently the SA police had been called to the same address to deal with 'incidents' before this, and apparently testosterone and needles were found at the address.............. :? :( :(

My theory is that an already ruthless and singleminded athlete was injecting performance-enhancing testosterone, which led to uncontrollable anger - and he flipped

No way should he be out on bail, he's a very dangerous man

What's really peeing me off is that it's all about him  He had a PR person on the job within hours, and it's all about how it's such a tragedy for him and his career  Also....would it have been ok if it had been an intruder, and he had shot said intruder through the toilet door when he himself had not been threatened in any way? Is it permissible to just shoot intruders in SA? The poor girl he killed seems to be secondary in all of this. Surely now that he has said he did the shooting, he will be found guilty of at the very least manslaughter (in SA it's called culpable homicide I believe) and get jail time? I still think his story has more holes in it than a string vest, but he is the only one who knows exactly what happened, and he will never admit to an argument of any kind, will he.

Yes, the victim only seems to be a side issue.
And yes Osc, he had a team of hotshot lawyers on the case pdq, attacking the police handling of the crime scene, too.
It is all supposition, as we weren't there, but his story is a bit too convoluted for me.

Well, looking at the evidence so far, I don't think he's got a leg to stand on .....

But at least somebody stumped up the bail. I just hope he doesn't do a runner.

I think that the only thing that can be said with any certainty is that firing through the door he did not take deliberate aim at her and could have missed. Most probably she locked herself in the bathroom to get away after a scrap and he followed in a blind rage firing to scare her but not to kill
or maybe not really conscious of the possible result of his action. :(
