Just booked my flight to the UK for my annual summer hooley. :D :D :D

€40 - not bad for the end of June. :D

Birmingham. Nottingham. London. Glasgow. Back to Birmingham.

So looking forward to seeing family and catching up with friends. :Hi: :Hi:

When I saw this I went and had a look, and the Premier Inn and Briar Rose are still at full price for July. However, end of March beginning of April at the PI are £42, but is it worth taking the chance of leaving booking till May/June. Decisions, decisions!

Just getting this thread going again.... not sure who is staying overnight besides Frank, Ally, Kaz and I.

Having looked at and compared prices for a good few weeks now, I and I know Kaz and Frank as well, have booked myself into the Briar Rose for the Tuesday night. The Brittania would have been a bit cheaper but the reviews weren't very promising (in fact quite dire having read more than just one or two).

I'm assuming we're heading to the The Old Contemptibles for the lunch or would people prefer to go back to The Old Joint Stock or even try somewhere else? I'm happy with anywhere;
(although Kaz will get her bread supply at the OJS :D :D :D :D ) - just looking forward to meeting up with everyone again and having a good natter xx

Hi :D :D

I'm not staying over Ria as I'm off to London for a couple of days with Jackie the next day. :Hi: :Hi:

I'll get the train back to hers (probably the last one! :lol: ) which is a much more sensible idea. :D :D

I've already taken the liberty of reserving us a table at the Old C's. :D :D

I've already decided to have Hunters chicken again too! :lol: :lol:

Can't wait to see you all again soon! :D :D :D

Ah, I might be able to get my elbows on the breakfast table this year. :D

And I too went to look at the OC's menu and discovered that they now have one dedicated to sossigizz.... yummeee.

Can't wait now.
