Good morning.

A lovely day forecast. 8-) 8-)

Off for a walk shortly then back to do absolutely nothing but lounge by the pool with my book. All day.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, Ria and everyone

A gorgeous morning, so the day will be spent outside.

More weeding - will it ever end?? - for me, not sure what Grumpy will be doing. Then we have to sort out the post-box. Yes, even though we don't get post, we're having a post-box :?   next door (the nice one's) suggested that, as we have to virtually pass each others house every time we go out, that one or t'other collects the post for both of us, from the bar. Hence the post-box.

Lamb cutlets on the bbq later - I managed to get to the butchers on Friday - with salad, cold potatoes and the black bean thingy I love.

Enjoy your rest Ally and hope all of us have a good day xx

Morning all!

Ally your day sounds perfect, and well deserved after your climb! :D

Ria, have a good day however it pans out :) xx

Ton the postbox thing has made me giggle

Well so far 58 isn't tooooo painful! Mick bought my cards and a few presents up with my breakfast and I'm still not up :D I got those lovely flowers from Chris yesterday (on the random thread) Mick bought me some clothes - it's what I asked for as so much of my old stuff is too big. D put money in my card and made me that cake, and a friend sent me a beautiful pen! I feel very lucky 8-) 8-)

Mick is driving into work with B, then we have the rest of the day to ourselves, so will see what we feel like doing :)

Have a lovely day everyone :) xxx

Good morning all, it's dull and breezy but mild here.

Billy and I had a lovely long walk, John's out on his bike and Joe's at the gym. Think we're heading into Birmingham this afternoon for a mooch around.

Enjoy your days all!

Afternoon :)
Quite a nice day here overall, only fleeting bits of faint sun but dry, although a fierce wind again.
If I'd thought to get washing in early it could have dried outside, but I didn't so the bedding's in now.
Mind you, I couldn't have stripped the bed with Bb still in it :P

Yes you definitely deserve a laze Ally!
Glad you're enjoying your birthday Kaz, is M taking you out for Sunday lunch?

We watched the cricket (India v Australia, test match) and since I saw Malaga was playing we've got that on now, not that either of us usually watches football

We have some chickeny thing for dinner, that Bb got as a bargain from w/rose, I think it's raw chicken pieces with peppers and chorizo and stuff - sounded quite nice anyway :)

Now our trip into Birmingham makes sense - there's a new bike shop opened in The Mailbox

I've just been listening to the football on the radio. Hate listening to it and not being able to see it, the commentators get over excited every time the ball crosses the halfway line but Joe was at the gym for the first half and needed updates. The game's on MUTV at Midnight anyway so Joe's stopping up with me to watch it then.

Afternoon all, it's fairly dull here, but at least it is dry. We spent three hours this morning putting together a foosball table (table soccer) so Michael will be delighted when next he is here - actually they are popping in this afternoon - as we were waiting for it to arrive all the time they were staying here last week but it was not delivered until yesterday. It went together pretty well, thank goodness, and the marriage survived  I can feel the ironing sending "iron me" vibes from the utility room, I might do a bit later on....or I might not. Hope the birthday girls are having lovely days :)
