When are we going to get a Government that will adopt the principle that England is a
Christian country and is for English people, and that we don't want any Foreigners here.

Never once have the English people been asked whether they agree to foreigners being
allowed to settle here. The blasted stupid politicians we have been saddled with during
my lifetime have ruined this country, and we are now seeing the consequences of their
stupidity. We should kick all foreigners out as soon as possible.

It's not going to happen Aggers. There are so many here already and they all have votes. Any political party who wanted to do that would start off millions of votes behind. If they even said that was their aim they could be prosecuted for inciting racial hatred.

If the clock could be turned back things may have been done more carefully; most foreigners are perfectly OK but the come one, come all attitude has left us with a deeply divided country and problems which are only going to get worse, imo.

Aggers, why do you think that, unlike countries like Japan or even much of southern Europe, we are all look so different here - different eye colours, hair colours, etc even in the same family? Because over the ages we were all (except for the indigenous Celts) foreigners! How far back should we go, or is it just brown people that we should expel?

Forty years ago we were being bombed by the IRA, should we have expelled all the Irish? :?

Talking of Japan, KAZ, did you know that for centuries they would not allow any foreigners into their country?

I know it's probably impossible to change things now, but I can't help thinking of the warnings of Enoch Powell.

I also think it's barmy that a new-born child is automatically given the nationality of the place of birth.
If a pregnant English woman gives premature birth when on holiday in, say, China, then the child is officially
Chinese. How daft is that? My pet dog was born in a stable, but that doesn't make him a horse.

I'm probably more sensitive on this subject because, as a child, I never once saw a foreigner, except on films.
The first blacks I saw was, when, in my teens the USA soldiers arrived in WW2. At school we were told that all
Europeans were white, Africans black, Asians brown and Chinese yellow. It's not easy to forget the basics one
learns in childhood.

Aggers, I do empathise because some of us are also concerned, but not in the same way.

Britain is a mish-mash, a box of all-sorts. Kaz is right: we had the Romans; the Vikings; the Danes; the Saxons and the Normans all invading us. Then we settled down and became... ourselves. We have always welcomed newcomers, and in return they (by and large) have accepted our hospitality and thanked us by fitting in. The latest newcomers have done everything but, and they are the ones I, and many others, are uncomfortable with.

I do not want to kick all foreigners out, far from it, but I would not hesitate to remove those who adamantly refuse to obey our rules, laws and culture while attempting to impose theirs on us.

The London terrorist murderer, for that is what he was (dead so past tense) is one such example. He and his like are not welcome, and I do agree that our politicians created the problems they now cause.

On the other note - all 'foreigners' ?!? Are you serious??
No Chinese restaurants, or Indian or Italian, or French of course.
You think the nhs is in trouble now, it would literally fall apart.
Countless consultants (mine is, I believe, South African), surgeons, Gps, nurses, researchers...
On and on, through all kinds - indeed every industry and entertainment.

Bye bye Ria, and Osc apparently you're not welcome either :(

Are they to be allowed to come on holiday? - that too would be rather a large hole in our economy.

And therein lies the problem because he is also a perfect example of one of those who adamantly refuse to obey our rules, laws and culture while attempting to impose theirs on us.

They are living amongst us but despise our way of life.

What chance do innocent people have when they are targeted in this random way.
