Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 04 Apr 2017, 05:57

Good morning. :D :D

A beautiful day forecast. 8-)

We're getting the train into Malaga this morning to meet up with our friends who are over on holiday. We'll find a cafe and have a long, lazy breakfast. :D :D

They'll then go on to the Picasso museum and cathedral and we'll come home as I have work at 4pm.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally and everyone

A gorgeous sun-rise this morning, I was stomping up and down the drive, watching it rise. So another hot day 8-)

I'm having the bliss of a massage this morning. :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: Carla is a trained therapist and watched me get up from my chair last night and said - I need to sort your back out. So that's my morning taken care of :Hi: :Hi:

Pootling this afternoon and fish pie for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all.

It's dry here, but no blue sky showing, so who knows how it will turn out?
I'm off to get my morning paper now. Then we have the regular monthly visit of a local clergyman
for a little service and a bit of hymn singing in our Lodge lounge.

Have a nice day.

Morning all :D

Wet and miserable here.

Enjoy the day with your friends Ally. Have a good last day with Harry Kaz.

The boys are due to arrive around lunch time, looks like we'll be having a movie afternoon. Fingers tightly crossed it brightens and we get sunshine tomorrow so we can get out to the beach. Always good to let them expend some of that endless energy.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all

Ally, have a lovely day - it really does sound lovley
Ton, not surprised your back is playing up. Hopefully Carla can give you some relief, but you probably will need a bit more than just the one session. And then ask her for some stretching exercises you can do before and after your gardening etc.
Kaz, enjoy the last day with Harry, the time does fly. Enjoy the family lunch together x
Jen, how long will the boys be with you? It's lovely that you're able to spend so much time with them / they with you. Having grown up in SA I never really got to know my grandparents (or most of the relatives for that matter) and I do feel that I missed out. When we moved back, my cousins obviously had a much better relationship with them and I did envy them that. So enjoy it whilst they're still happy enough to come visit.

A rather wet start to the day here as well, the garden was very happy to have that rain. It's dry now but doesn't look like the clouds will be lifting any time soon. Usual work day for me and usual evening home (I'm so predictable!). Bossman is only in for a few hours this morning then off for 2 and a bit days - back on Friday. Nice!

have a lovely day all xx

Good morning all, it's brightening up here after a dull and drizzly start.

There was a bit of confusion on the walk this morning. Billy was having a lovely time playing with another dog, and then when I called him and the other owner called his dog it turned out that they were both called Billy and neither had a clue who they had to run to

Housework today, Joe's in college this afternoon and then I think we'll walk Billy this evening. We took him for his favourite walk last night, at a place called Hednesford Hills. It's actually my favourite place to walk too. I grew up nearby and walking there always brings back lovely memories of my Grandad taking me for Sunday morning walks around there when I was small before we went back to his bungalow for the lamb dinner which my Nan had cooked. It was always lamb, my parents always had beef which I didn't like so that why was I always had Sunday dinner with my grandparents. The cemetery where they're buried is also on the Hills so I always pop in and say hello to them and tidy their grave if it needs it.

Kaz, is Harry on Easter holidays now? Joe finishes on Thursday which surprised me because around here they usually break up on the Thursday before Good Friday so it seems early. He goes back on the 25th.

Have a good day all!

I wondered about the holidays too - usually they're either side of the long Easter weekend, which is the case here - our schools break up this Friday and return on the 24th. I bet you've had a smashing time with H Kaz xxx

Gorgeous here after a cloudy start, shame to be at work really. I've got Karen with me, probably for the last time for a while as next week staff holidays start, and don't finish until September! So we have at least one staff member off on hols from now till then..... :? I'm dreading working on my own.....

Charlie seems more himself today - was quite worried about him yesterday, he seemed disinterested in his food (MOST unusual!!) and when I looked in his mouth, his gums look black (but this might be normal for him, given his colouring - I've never noticed it before and I ended up encouraging him to eat from the pouch last night, so I was crouched in the kitchen holding a fork with food on for him to nibble on....it worked at least! 8-) :D Then later in the evening he came to sit on my knee for aaaaages 8-) :D

Have a lovely Tuesday all xxx

Afternoon all, it was a bright breezy day and I had washing out early, it's clouded over quite a bit now though. I went to Pilates, then did some shopping afterwards - looking for good value lamb as we are hosting Easter Sunday lunch. Got a leg and a half leg so they are in the freezer now. Just about to have lunch and decide what to do with the afternoon. Mr Osc is playing golf.
