Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 05 Apr 2017, 05:21

Good morning. :D :D

A lovely hot sunny day forecast. 8-) 8-) 8-)

A run for me shortly, back for coffee then getting ready with Don & Conor and we're all going over to see mum and dad who are taking us out for lunch. :D :D

It's our 27th wedding anniversary tomorrow and we won't be seeing my folks hence the lunch out today.

They have no idea that tomorrow Jacob is flying over. (How I've not blurted that fact out to mum and dad I do not know! ) but when they walk into our house on Friday and see Jacob sitting there will have been worth the wait. :Hi:

I have work tonight 6 - 9 then I'm meeting David for a couple of beers. He's booked another couple of things for Operation Norway so lots to talk about. :D :D

Have a great day everyone. :D

Morning Ally, morning all :)

Beautiful start to the day here, very chilly though.
Off early to Southampton for a nuclear bone scan this morning so will be there a few hours.
You have a radioactive injection, then go away for two hours before the scan.
No Bb for company, he has appointments.

Have a lovely lunch Ally :)
Hope everyone has a good day

Morning all :)

Ally that will be such a wonderful surprise! :D :D

Good luck today Di xxxxxxx

Saundra, enjoy the people watching :D 8-)

Ria it's sunny but nippy here too. I love the lighter evenings, it makes such a difference! :D

Seeing my client this morning, then I might linger in town or even walk down to the Quays afterwards, if it's still sunny :) I really ought to go to zumba tonight, but will see how it goes

They are opening up access to some of the Roman ruins under the city centre - these are directly under one if the shopping areas, I walk directly over this one several times a week! I'm thinking of applying for a ticket :) There is also one right outside Boots, but you can see down into that all the time, as it's all under glass :D That link doesn't show the trapdoor down into it, but if you click back onto the main news page you can see it! :D

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good luck with the scan Di. Some nice days on here today! Not much planned apart from maybe getting some holiday brochures. :)

Morning all :D

Good luck with the scan Di xx

Enjoy the day with your mum and dad Ally, what a lovely surprise they'll have on Friday :D

I had a phone call from the CH yesterday afternoon, things are changing rapidly and mother's no longer eating, just taking sips of fluid. She's now on end of life meds so it looks like it will be days not weeks now. She's very peaceful which is the best we can ask for.

It's good to have the boys here, no time to think and brood with them around. It's bright and sunny today so we'll be off down to the harbour via a stroll along the beech later this morning. Z is due to pick them up tomorrow morning, even if we get a call before then we wouldn't be driving up any sooner, hotel to book etc, so we'll be doing all the usual things, including their favourite treat, a trip to Sorbetto.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Oh Jen :( (((((Jen)))))

Di, I hope the scan goes well xx

Good morning all, it's bright and mild here.

Mother in law arrives at 2pm. It'll be bang on 2pm too. I've been shopping for pizza for dinner as that and frozen fish and chips seem to be the only things she'll actually eat. I bought fresh pizzas though and not the frozen ones she likes. Oh, and I bought biscuits too as she eats them for supper (Joe will think it's his birthday as I never usually buy them much to his disgust).

Kaz, I saw that from your link on Facebook. I found it fascinating that there's that trap door in the shopping centre with so much history below it. I hope you get tickets :D

Cromwell, holiday brochures are very exciting! Looking forward to seeing where you decide to go :D

Have a good day all.
