Afternoon everyone

Sending over massive hugs for you all Jen xx

And hope the scan went okay Di xx

Gorgeously hot day 8-)

No internet this morning, so we went out instead. Off to Castro Verde market - it was packed  but still managed to see a few people we knew - a couple we also avoided   Bought more flowers and some tomato plants, so that's to do either later, when it's cooler or tomorrow morning.

Have also got all the paperwork sorted for us to take tomorrow, to prove we didn't make a profit on the house in Fuzeta

Might just pop down the bar later - might not.

Enjoy the rest of the day everyone xx

Ton I was still in there when you posted - it took nearly an hour!

Then the car had an altercation with a wall in the car park
The only space (after queuing for ages) was against a wall, so I got in there, as close to the wall as I could, so I could get out the driver's side.
But when I got back, someone had parked right up close to the driver's side - had to take my coat off to sqeeeeeze in.

And I literally couldn't get out! Couldn't move forward enough to swing round the wall; had to try, inching one way then the other, but still i ended up with the car scrunched into the wall  Then it was still hard getting it off and out
Didn't stop to inspect it till I got home, it's obviously not terribly serious but a nuisance.
So then had to get on the phone to insurance, explain and organise, etc...

Altogether very nice to have a cup of tea and piece of carrot cake after all that! :)
And now the IPL has started (cricket) so I'm slowly relaxing.

(((Jen))) it's so hard, but no, no point keep rushing up there, just be thankful your mother is peaceful and apparently pain-free which is such a blessing.
xx

I agree completely. ((((((Jen))))))

We went to Ikea quite early to get some chairs, and ended up with a few other bits as well, as you do! We were sitting having a cuppa when my sister came along, so we sat and chatted for a while, which was nice. Did the supermarket shop on the way home, and got a couple of pizzas to save having to cook. In for the evening now.
