Occupational hazard ....

Postby TheOstrich » 06 Apr 2017, 19:01

One of the occupational hazards of (a) living in a bungalow and (b) having an outside TV aerial appears to be having a pigeon sitting on the latter and cooing directly down your chimney.

The chimney, we find, acts as an echo chamber and the effect in the sitting room is quite unnerving. In the end, we had to turn the telly volume up ......

We used to have an open fireplace in our dining room at our old house and the chimney pot seemed to be quite a popular place for pigeons to perch
