Good Morning Thursday

Postby JoM » 27 Apr 2017, 05:22

Morning all, it's a sunny but chilly one here.

John's off to Belfast for the day so has just left for the airport. I'm now going to walk Billy seeing as I've been woken so early

Have a good day all!

Morning Jo and everyone

Sunshine and clouds this morning, quite warm and thunderstorms forecast for tonight :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

I'll be ironing later and Grumpy is sorting a few things out. I must also find the code numbers for the Glad bags and back plates, just to make sure I get the right ones

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good Morning on this bright, cold day.
I am really fed up about Don`s MRI result!
He had it done last Wednesday and as i said the Doctor
was supposed to phone the result through to us.
He did`nt and i have been trying every day to get it.
I finally managed to get as far as his secretary yesterday
who looked and said she had found it but could`nt read it
to me as she was`nt a medical person so would contact Doctor
B and ask him to phone. He has`nt!!!
I have been to our Doctors and asked the receptionist if by
any chance the notes have been sent there. They have`nt!!
I just give up:angry:

Morning all

Gosh Jo, that's an early start to the day for you - hope the rest of the day is nice and relaxing
Hope you find the right numbers Jan
Lissie, that's just rubbish, it really is. One can only assume though that because they haven't called that nothing untoward has been found? You shouldn't have to, but maybe see if you can get through to the secretary again - or get her email, that often works better - and lie a bit. Tell them you're having anxiety attacks because you're concerned something is wrong etc etc - lay it on extra thick and hopefully you'll soon get the results ;)

Well very cold morning here, but thankfully this time of year the sun is high enough early enough that it got to the car and I didn't have to scrape ice off the windscreen. Usual work day for me and then leaving early for the vet appointment. Was meant to go yesterday but ended up delaying to today as work was a bit busy and it wasn't the best time to try leave early.

Have a lovely day everyone, and enjoy whatever it is you're up to x

Lessie, contacts PALS (Patient Advice Liaison Service) every hospital has one They will be able to help you

or the secretary at your GP surgery. If you rang me I would do my utmost to sort it for you, but not all secretaries are as tenacious as me. my work colleagues say I'm like a dog with a bone and I'm proud of that

Good morning all.

It's not very bright here, and keeps trying to rain.

I'm having a quiet day, and getting ready for my Golden Oldies Music Night this evening.
This afternoon I expect, we will be watching Snooker on TV. It was smashing yesterday,
when Chinaman Ding knocked out Ronny O'Sullivan. I've never seen such excellent snooker.

Hope you all have a lovely day.

Morning :)
Bright and blowy here, although rain forecast for later. Bedding drying nicely at the moment :)

Good suggestions from Mm there Lissie, hope you get somewhere x

Busy busy, sorting out and paring down clothes for packing :D
Think that's about done - shoes, necklaces, odds and ends next...oh and toiletries.
No idea what's for dinner though :?

Hope you're all having a good day.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny right now, but who knows, it started out nice yesterday and then we had hailstones :?

Lissie that's not acceptable at all, really good advice from MM and Ria.

We had a good time at the quiz last night, our team came second, think we could have done even better if we'd concentrated more instead of laughing all evening. The team next to us and the one we swapped sheets with for marking were hilarious. Lots of very inappropriate answers, they called themselves the Cunning Stunts so I think you get the picture, needless to say they won the booby prize, oh and the prize for best team name    Can't wait for a rerun next month.

Tbh I wasn't really too keen to go, but it was a great tonic. All this waiting feels like being in limbo, it's not that I'm looking forward to the funeral, but I just need to get it done.

We've had a very long lie in, planning to have a late lunch in M&S later and then do the weekly shop.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Jen you have my utmost sympathy, I remember feeling exactly the same way waiting for my parents' funerals :( ((((x))))

Lissie that is shocking! Hopefully the good advice you've had here already will help ((((x))))

Afternoon everyone, sorry to be late on parade but miraculously I managed to get through to the GPs, at last, in time to get an appointment! It was for 9am though so I had to get a move on then to get there on time!

It is as I suspected BPV, benign postural vertigo, so nothing to worry about, just unpleasant! She offered me anti-sickness tablets if it gets worse, but I hope it will just go away without. My bp was also up a bit but not enough to worry about.

I got my hair cut while I was in town, Shireen is used to me and my dodgy neck anyway, and was careful not to pull my head about too much. It's much shorter! I really like it :) No pilates tonight, which is probably just as well ;) I wanted it cut today as M and I are going to a funeral tomorrow, one of his old rugby playing friends, so I wanted to look presentable.
