I'm off to Torremolinos this morning to be with Jackie and 4 other friends.

We are going to be ladies wot will be having a blast!

At some point late afternoon we'll be hooking up with my parents to have a quick drink with them which will be lovely.

I'll be back home Monday afternoon...I might be AWOL from here till then.

As I type Di & Bb are mid air flying home so safe flight to them. x

We're home!
Stopped to have a coffee with Bb's mum and dad, and got some essentials at Lidl on the way home.

Landed 25 minutes early, at 7.55 - and it was flipping freezing!!
Seems to be brightening up now.
Tucked up and asleep Kaz, are you serious?!

We have lovely newly painted hall, stairs and landing thanks to Adrian so have some straightening out to do, bookshelf unit back on the landing, pictures to re-hang, etc.
Might just leave the unpacking till tomorrow as there are bits and pieces everywhere - surprising how much 'stuff' is normally kept in the hall and landing

Afternoon all and welcome home, Di and Bb. It's freezing here too, we went to watch Michael's soccer match at 10am and it was woolly hats, scarves and gloves, soooooo cold. We are resisting putting on the heating but only just. We are going out for a meal with friends this evening, looking forward to that. I've just booked airport parking for Wednesday, we usually park in an airport hotel and take their shuttle bus, but have decided to try the airport long term car park for a change. Exciting, eh

It's cold here today, and I'm wishing I hadn't abandoned my thermal underwear.
This morning we did some shopping in the town stocking up with loads of fruit and veg,
We had to wait ages in the bus shelter, wishing the metal seating was not so cold.

This afternoon has been much pleasanter, with lots of hot drinks.
