I'm the early bird this morning. It's a bit grey out there at the moment, but the forecast is good for later WW this morning, it won't be good news but will give me the boot up the bum I seem to need at the moment! The problem with this time of year, with all the lovely Bank Holidays, is the missed meetings!

It's a gorgeous morning here and Grumpy has been down to water the tomatoes and other veg. The garden was rather dry yesterday, so needs a soaking.

I'm off on a jolly today Antonia has a private doc, down in the Algarve, and she's been insisting for a few weeks that I go down and see her, so today, we're off. Then we're shopping somewhere and having lunch too

So tonight, we treating her to dinner at the Palma

Grumpy will have to occupy himself today

A rather dull grey morning here, but this is how it was yesterday as well, then come about 2pm the sun came out and we had the most glorious afternoon.
Usual work day for me and then meeting a friend for dinner. Afterwards heading to Karl and Nadine's to pick up Claudia who is back down this part of the UK and will be staying with me. But a change of plan from her side and she's now heading off on the 17th already - not end of the month as originally planned

Bit knackered and quite a busy day.
Yoga this morning, which I didn't want to miss and did me good
Stayed for coffee with a few others, then straight on to the local hospital for blood test.
Also got another wash load done.

Up at sparrows' tomorrow as off to the hospital early.

Thanks for Joe's birthday wishes everyone, he had a good day. He wanted some new trainers with some of his birthday money, he knew which ones he wanted so off we went to Walsall but when he tried them on he didn't like them, he loved the style but they were all black and he thought they were a bit plain. There wasn't anything else that he liked so after a meatball lunch at Ikea we came home. He looked online at the Adidas site and saw that you could design your own trainers, using the ones he'd tried on, so he's done that instead.
And....he had his first driving lesson. He's using a cycling friend of John's as he has a driving school and got Tom through his test. He loved it! He was quite nervous before going but was full of it when he came home.
