Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 12 May 2017, 05:51

Good morning. :D :D

I'm off to meet Jackie and the ladies in Torremolinos at 10am for breakfast! A full English...yummy. :D :D :D :D

They catch their flight at 4 and have a taxi booked from the hotel for 12.30. They've had a fabulous week and will go home and immediately look at flights for the same week next year. :D :D

I've got homework club 4.30 - 6.30 then meeting Don for Friday beers and tapas. :D :D

Happy anniversary Osc & Mr Osc. xx

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Well you'll be breakfasting by now Ally, enjoy :)

Usual / usual for me tonight and quite looking forward to it. Claudia (the niece staying with me at the moment) heads off to Guildford today, spending the night with friends and then over to Cardiff for the weekend. She'll be back either Monday or Tuesday and then heads off again on the Wednesday for 2 weeks to Morocco. So I have the house to myself this weekend - nice one!!!

Saundra, dull and grey this morning and also a bit cooler; with the promise of a bit more rain which will be fab. Same as with you, the garden is in dire need. We had some overnight but no where near enough.

Have a lovely day everyone, whatever it is you're up to.

Mr & Mrs Osc - happy anniversary, hope you're having a fab day x

Morning Ally, have a great breakfast, and safe trip home to your friends :D

Happy Anniversary Osc and E :D :D Celebrating in style in beautiful Italy :) xxxxx

Morning Saundra, we need some rain too! Never thought I'd say that, living here

Glad you're getting some time to yourself Ria ;) Five more sleeps! :D :D

It's a bit drizzly here, Emma is picking me up at 10.30 as we decided last night that a trip out to the garden centre between here and Newent, Trioscape, might be nice. Mick and I got some fab plants there last Sunday! Our friend J from weightwatchers lives in Newent, so we're hoping she can join us, although as she is a carer for her mum she might not be able to make it.

Emma just wants to mooch, but I still need something that will do well in shade, for a large pot in one corner of the garden 8-)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning everyone

Rain and more rain :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: The garden is loving   so we stayed in bed, with a coffee and just read.

Happy Anniversary Osc and Mr Osc xx

We're off to the supermarket later this morning, between the showers, hopefully, to get some car oil and other bits. Yes, car oil  There isn't a car accessory shop for miles and the petrol stations don't normally carry it, so supermarket it is

Think a quiet inside type of day is on the cards, if it carries on raining like this.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Change of plan

I didn't realise it's a holiday today, as the Pope is visiting Fatima. So all the government thingies are shut, which includes the centro de saude and I have to go and pay a bill.

So a day of staying in 8-)

Good morning all!

I've had a change of plan too Jan. I was planning on walking over to a nearby town but it's a 5 mile round walk so it's not appealing in this weather, it's pouring down. Billy got his walk while it was still quite dry though.

Happy Anniversary to Osc and E! :D

Have a good day all!

Good morning all.

It's raining slightly here. The garden certainly needs It, if we don't.

Nothing much planned for today, so I might have a go at sorting out
my stamp collection, which I have neglected for some time.

Have a nice day!

Good Morning all.
Quite muggy here and trying to rain. It has rained overnight so the plants
that Don put in yesterday have perked up. :D
Just heard that our nice young neighbour is moving after less than 2 years.
When he bought it we wondered if he was going to modernise it then sell it
to make a profit. He has done a lot of work on it so i reckon we were right.
Hope we get someone as nice move in.
The road is being ruined as a local family and their friends are buying these
bungalows as soon as they come on the market and converting them into 4
bedroomed houses. My friend and i (2 doors down) feel like strangers now as
most of the people who were here when we came have died or moved on.
These newcomers don`t speak or acknowledge us at all. So sad as it was
such a friendly road. :(
