Good morning all.

It's very hot here - almost too hot for comfort.

I won't be going far today - just down to the dentists this afternoon to collect
my dentures which are having another tooth added. Then this evening I'm doing
another Golden Oldies Music Night here at the Lodge.

Hope you are all O.K.

Good morning--very hot and sunny here.
This is our adjoining bungalow that our neighbour has just
put on the market.
He has certainly worked hard on it and it looks so good.
Makes ours look so old fashioned.
Have a good day.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Good luck Ton xx

Agree Jo, definitely put your foot down, it's your house and he's almost moved out.

Had a very busy day yesterday, enjoyed coffee with the ladies and then spent the afternoon in the garden putting in the new plants and sprinkling the bark. E was extra busy, he cleared the border in the front while I was out, now need to pop over to the garden centre for more plants.

We've had a good lie in this morning, will be off out later for the usual weekly shop.

Hope you all have a good day :D

The good news is he can fix the leak (coming tomorrow). The bad news is that the system is somewhat inefficient, being a mix-'n-match of various makes of equipment, and that a proper bespoke replacement would be £4-5,000. :?

As we hope to be in this house long-term, we are inclined to "get it done". Better to spend the dosh on ourselves rather than wait for the Government to snaffle it .....

Hope everyone else is having a somewhat less expensive day .... :D

Afternoon :)

Hot and sunny :D 8-)
Gosh it's busy on here, isn't that good! - but it does mean I can't keep track of who's doing what

We're going to be doing some painting in here, since we'll have the new bookcases etc, just the sitting end for now, the dining end will be much more upheaval.
So I've done what I can with cleaning skirting, washing a wall, things like that.
Think we're doing the actual painting and building bookcases Sunday and Monday, since Bb will be working as usual on Saturday, so we'll just have to live in a bit of a mess till then!
Hope you're all enjoying the day - I can see Saundra is :D

The reason it-s so dirty Ria, is that she drives with the windows down, as Bear is always with her andthe dust from the track stays in the car.

But it has 4 wheels, an engine and it-ll do

Also very hot here now, sat in the shade, enjoying a little breeze 8-) 8-)

[quote="JanB"]Morning Ally and everyone

.

But we really only need it for today, pay the motorway taxes, put more money on our phone and also need food, water and beer ;)

Shouldn't it be: Beer Food water put more money on the phone. Then if you have anything left pay the motorway taxes.
:) :) :)
