Morning Ally and everyone

We have a lovely cooling breeze, which is making it very pleasant outside.

Grumpy out and working on the new work-shop before it gets too hot. The blocks get too hot to put cement on    and I have that ironing to do. By the time Gez came, cut my hair, then we chatted for an hour or so, it was far too hot yesterday. So I'll do it outside, in that breeze 8-)

And I was very brave and had that tinned salmon yesterday. Pretty foul, even Grumpy didn't like it, so we'll battle on and have the salmon steaks later in the week and see if they're better.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, it's still cloudy and breezy here.

We were up and out early this morning to pick up my Mom and Dad and drop them at the hospital. Mom's having a hip replacement sometime today, she had her first one done when Joe was a baby so around 17 years ago and now the other needs doing.

Being a nosey neighbour today. We had new people move into the big house right up the corner (you tend to forget it's there as it's quite hidden) when the lovely family who lived there moved last year. They're a bit of a mystery. When they moved in they had a 10 year old car and a beaten up works van. Now there are two new works vans parked there and the woman is driving around in a brand new £70,000 BMW - N and R over the road are convinced they're drug dealers. T lives next door to them, detached, and says that on Saturday nights there's music playing loudly until at least 3am despite there being children living there.
Anyway, this morning we went out at 6.45am and there was a police car parked on their drive, possibly a break in I suppose or an attempted one but there were also signs near the house that someone had been, shall we say, unwell in the middle of the road.

Have a good day all!

Morning all :)

Glad you had a good weekend away A!ly :D 8-)

Good luck to your Mum today, Jo!xxxxx That's intriguing, about the neighbours, I wonder what the story is there? We have a few houses on the edge of this estate that are rented out as social housing, and according to Sue next-door someone who lived there was evicted recently for growing and selling weed :o I hadn't noticed :P  Or maybe your neighbours had a lottery win, or an inheritance? Don't forget to let us know, if you find out! :P

Hope you feel better enough to pick up your parcel Lissie :( Cloudy here, the weather on your side of the country seems much better than ours recently!

Giving zumba a miss this morning, we've not long woken and I have a few bits to do here, but will go tomorrow night. Up to see D at lunchtime, the new dishwasher is coming today, but Mick is here to take delivery :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

You never know what goes on behind closed doors do you?
A few weeks ago a man in his late 60`s murdered his next door
neighbour (a man in his late 70`s) The case has`nt come to court
yet so we don`t know the details. They were as far as people knew
best friends!!! This was just down the road from us.

Morning all, developing into a nice day here. I'm heading off shortly to do some shopping, cleanser, a lipstick and a few other bits. I cleared all the ironing yesterday *polishes halo* . Hopefully the sun will be out when I get back so I can sit out on one of the sunchairs we got in Lidl last week.

Ton, tinned salmon is pretty vomit-inducing, to be fair - proper salmon is...well...proper, and no comparison with the tinned stuff. Jo keep us updated on the neighbours!!
