Morning Ally :) The forecast here is good too :) I like your useless fact as well

Morning all :) Should be a nice warm day. I feel a lot better, the plan today was to meet someone who I've known online for a long time - Kirsty M from the DM boards and DD (forgotten her nickname) has a sister who lives here in Gloucester so is over here for a couple if days. She asked if I wanted to meet up for a coffee this afternoon so hopefully I'll feel up to that :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all :D

Lovely and sunny here 8-)

Hope you feel well enough to meet up with your friend later Kaz.

We're just having brekkie then intend a steady stroll along the seafront down to the harbour. Expect we'll find somewhere to have lunch while we're there.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good morning everyone.

It's a lovely mild day here. Just right for a quiet walk in the park.

Glad you are feeling better, Kaz.

Good afternoon, folks. Trust you're recovering OK, Kaz.

Very warm here and the sun's now out; Mrs O completed three washing loads this morning so Ossie has been perched on the rotary clothes line with his beak full of pegs. Why do the plastic ones always fall apart?

On loading up the car at the supermarket this morning, I thought we'd had the side of the car keyed from front to back. However, a bit of spit 'n polish soon brought the marks off, and in retrospect, I think the cause was more likely branch whiplash as I recall, meandering down one of the back roads earlier in the week, I had to hurriedly drive into a hedge to make way for one of they turbocharged farm tractors with a wide rake on the back ....

Lunch at a local pub, a new one for us. Perhaps a slightly limited menu but all very nicely presented. Mrs O had a goat's cheese salad whilst the bird indulged in a bacon and melted brie sandwich with frites! £23 odd with 2 coffees.

Mrs O now attempting to enter a state of Zen as she has a blood pressure check up at the quacks around 5:00. I have been firmly admonished not to wind her up ....

Afternoon all, I was up and out early for a 10am funeral, the mother of a friend of my sister. When I got home, I had a couple of phone calls to make, some stuff to do online and a letter to post. On the way back from posting the letter, I popped into the local gym to enquire about their Pilates classes and signed up. My usual class is finished for the summer but I want to keep going - I don't think it is as good as the one I go to, but hopefully it will help me maintain muscle memory.

Had my lunch and been taking it easy since then. Mr Osc has just come home from golf, and we are going dancing tonight.

Ossie you do make me laugh

Osc have a rest! I know what you mean about Pilates, we have no yoga in July or August and I'm missing it already!
Some of the others (who also come to craft) were talking this morning about maybe all meeting for a walk but I can't often do those...

Just been to collect Minnie, she looks lovely and with a little bow on her collar :D but is shattered and already asleep so pics will have to wait.

I've been at work today, swap for Monday when I was at the hossie. I had a clinic this morning with Michael, one of the owners (my boss) but he's ok, I quite like working with him. Wasn't busy but I did a couple of nice dispenses, always a bit of a boost when you know people are going to look fab in the frame you've helped them choose!

I've just had a bit of a shock, I think my elderly next door neighbour has died. I know she'd been very poorly, the family had ended up having to put her into a care home as she had dementia and was getting very confused and had been hospitalised for other things as well, but I didn't know she'd died....feel a bit bad now as I'd have gone to her funeral if I'd known but I think it was today. It's odd that the family haven't let me know, I often see them going to visit her if I'm about, and when Smudge went missing, the daughter was very interested in what had happened....she even stopped the car one day to ask. Oh dear.

Kaz I'm glad you are feeling better now, did you manage to meet your friends? x

Ooo I bet Minnie looks great now Di!! :)

Have a lovely evening all xx
