Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 25 Jun 2017, 06:15

Good morning.

Hot. 8-) 8-)

Going for a refreshing swim in a moment. :D

The twins are taking us out for lunch today - it's been fantastic spending so much time with them the past couple of days. :D :D :D :D

We'll wander down to the feria later this evening as it finishes tonight. :D

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning Ali and all who follow.
I enjoyed Foo Fighters last night although Don was`nt impressed and kept
making rude comments. The Glastonbury crowds are amazing and to think
i spent my summer holidays there as a kid as my Gran and Grandad lived there--a quiet
little country town with the main attraction being The Tor. How times change.
It is a bit overcast and windy here at the moment.
Just going to Aldis then home to watch Formula 1.
Have a good day.:cheer: :cheer:

Morning both, and everyone :)

Have a terrific lunch with the boys Ally! :D :D

Lissie I love the town itself, really special place, never been to the music festival and doubt I will now

We are spending the day at D's, she is cooking us all a lovely roast lamb Sunday lunch :D The gate to the side of her bungalow has a broken plank or two in it. It still locks, and is secure, but doesn't look that good, so she rang around for some quotes, and was happy to pay, but Mick he said he was happy to do it for her and save her the hundreds a new gate would cost :) He got the bits and pieces from Wickes and D offered to have us all over - Becky, dogs and all - for the day while Mick fixes it

D is a brilliant cook, I believe the menu is roast lamb, roast potatoes, cauli cheese, sweetheart cabbage and green beans, followed by (homemade) choccy orange souffle :D   Yum yum yum! :Hi:

Have a good day everyone :D xx

Morning everyone

Lovely cool breeze wafting through all the open doors and windows this morning. We had some rain  during the night and a thunderstorm is forecast.

Sounds a lovely lunch Kaz, enjoy x

It's our 35th wedding anniversary today and tomorrow, so we're having proper bacon, thanks to Ria, eggs and fried bread for breakfast and a scrummy dinner tonight. Out tomorrow night.

Yoga for us both this afternoon. Yes, even Grumpy. Antonia is going to show him some exercises to get rid of the gunk in his lungs and I'll be doing my hour.

Have a great day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, it's just started to rain here and I think the forecast is for it to rain on and off today.

John's off out on his bike and the lads are still in bed. Tom was back just after Midnight last night. He'd gone to an Instagram event at the Museum and Art Gallery in Birmingham. I think it was held in the Edwardian Tea Room but they also had after hours access to the museum...then he went for a couple of drinks nearby with some people he'd met there before getting the last train home.

Me and John might pop over to Birmingham this afternoon, or we might not

We haven't watched much of Glastonbury, we watched The Pretenders and Elbow on Friday and then Kaiser Chiefs and Liam Gallagher yesterday. Need to find Noel Gallagher on iPlayer. I've never really got into Foo Fighters. There's a band called Skinny Lister who were playing one of the smaller stages, not sure if they'll be on catch up but they're really excellent live and a lot of fun.

Kaz, that sounds lovely!

Have a good day all!

Morning all :D

Bit dull but still very warm here. The promised rain didn't happen yesterday, it actually turned quite sunny in the afternoon. Think we're supposed to get some today, we'll see.

E's been suffering a bit more than usual the last two days so we used the car and didn't go too far yesterday. He just needs to take it easy today, if the weather holds up we're hoping to get out for a walk tomorrow.

Always good to have someone else do the dinner Kaz. No such luck here, I'll be cooking an M&S rotisserie chicken later and plan to have it with a big salad. Jelly and blancmange for pud, yummy.

Hope you all have a good day :D
