He is my favourite Royal by a country mile, but he has to stop all his bleating.

His latest whinge is that he didn't want to be part of the Royal Family.

It's easy, son, walk in and say "Just call me Harry" then go.

Get yourself a flat in Canning Town and get working on your CV, in the meantime you will have to 'sign-on' at the Jobcentre. You will need a wallet for something called money and bank cards - you will soon get the hang of them. You will need to learn how to shop for things like food and clothes and then pay for them at a checkout as you leave. Taxis and buses cost quite a bit so you might need a bike. And don't forget that as a single lad you will have to pay council tax. If you are very frugal you might be able to put some pennies away each week for a few days off-season camping near the Essex coast every third year.

Oh what? You have changed your mind. Wise move, son, wise move.

I do get where you are coming from Frank, on the wealth and privilege, but hand on heart I would not have their lives for anything! The lack of freedom to choose your own career, for everything you do and say to be under the microscope and pulled to pieces! It's a gilded prison!

I don't like the bleating, though, it won't win him any kudos; he's just got to buckle down and get on with it, really. He seemed happy enough in the Armed Forces, why can't they post him back there?

I can see his point of view. Most of his upper class chums can more or less have a great time in relative anonymity; he can't. He's just going to have to count his blessings and get on with it.

I'm with Kaz on this. His life was blighted from birth and no amount of money or privilege will ever make up for it. I doubt he feels he's bleating. Is suspect he's either convinced, or been convinced, that he should let some of this out. After all, every grief counselling effort includes the ability to talk about it. Except if you are a member of the royal family, your audience, if you are going to feel free to talk about it at all, includes everyone I the country.

Looked at from the outside, I wouldn't have his life for anything and that includes more privilege than he has and more money than the Queen has.

In his place I might see how far the privilege runs by bending a few reporters and photographers.... That he does not is very much to his credit.
