Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 03 Jul 2017, 06:21

Good morning.

After a fantastic weekend in Nottingham I'm getting the 2pm train back to Birmingham today.

Going out with Jackie early doors for a couple of beers and I've booked us a table for later at the Hen & Chickens where they serve the best Indian food. :cute:

Have a great day everyone. X

Oops...added to say it was fantastic meeting Helena yesterday. Plans are that my next Nottingham trip will include a meet with her and hopefully Debih! :D :D

Also meant to add the weather has been very nice since my arrival in the UK. :D

Morning Ally and everyone

Going to be a hot day, so I've already put in an hour on the garden.

Have some ironing to do later and Grumpy will be resting.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing x

Morning all :D

Dry and looks like it's going to be quite bright here.

Sounds like you're making the most of your trip Ally.

We had an easy drive home yesterday, but were both so pooped we just flopped on the sofa for a couple of hours before staggering off to bed. Would have liked a really long lie in this morning, but I've got the doctor and then we really must pick up a few bits in town.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning everyone

Well that was a weekend that yet again just sped by.... I'm totally exhausted and need another day at home to recover from the weekend
Jan, really hope Grumpy feels better soon - hope he's being a good grumpy patient when he's resting
Jen, good luck with the doctor and the shopping
Kaz, the forecast for tomorrow and Wednesday looks good so definitely no waterproof stuff needed. Wednesday in particular will be lovely and warm, perfect for a mooch around town and a cuppa outside somewhere :)
Ally, glad you had a good time in Nottingham; and enjoy the Indian tonight - yum!

Quiet day at work today as all bosses are away; then home to pack up a few things for Brum

have a lovely day all

Morning all, it's dull here but mild enough. I was out earlier delivering Michael to a football association soccer camp, they were given a full kit and went off to change - the sound level in the changing room was scary   In a few minutes I will be heading to the local gym to try their Silver Sneakers class, then it's h/work for the rest of the day. Still rather tired after our weekend of dancing (so that actually might mean less h/work ;) ). Mr Osc is going to play golf.

Back from the gym, and I rather enjoyed it, all the others were of a similar age group to myself, some familiar faces, all very welcoming and it was fun. I am going to see if I can switch over the money I paid for the Pilates to this class. It was circuit training, 40 seconds on each piece of equipment and then move on, have a rest then do it again, three times in total. 67 years of age and I finally go to a gym

Afternoon all, it's dull but warm here today.

I did some shopping this morning, came back and Shannon joined me in the kitchen while I unpacked it all. I made her some breakfast and we sat chatting over coffee while waiting for Tom. They were going to do a bit of shopping, Tom needed some shoes, and then her parents were picking her up from Tom's work when he went to start his shift. They got back at around 7.30 last night and after I'd cooked for them we all sat in the garden until nearly 11, it was such a lovely evening - company and weather-wise.

Doing stir fry for dinner and then we'll pop over to Walsall to see my Mom.

Have a good day all!

Evening :)
Cloudy andcool this morning but cleared this afternoon and was quite hot and sunny.

Had a lovely time this morning, yoga's off for the summer so five of us met at a local garden centre for coffee :)
Then I went shopping, back just in time to see Bb briefly - he was working locally so popped home for lunch.

Later I've been double-checking a couple of holiday apartments and have sent an enquiry ;)

Hope your mum's doing ok Jo
