Starting packing as we are going away on Saturday. Just sun cream, and toiletries. The good clothes are only packed on Friday.

As mentioned it's another sunny morning Harry is coming to stay for a week or two Martin is having his bathroom completely renovated, so H asked to come here while they are doing it Bit of gardening for me this afternoon, while it's quiet

Another grey and cold morning. Very bizarre weather we're having But the afternoons are lovely

Will spend some time in the garden today. Next door has finally - think he heard Grumpy taking shots at the ducks - put some fencing around to stop the blasted things from coming over

Antonia is cooking us dinner tonight and we'll be meeting her neighbour again, a English bloke who is so funny, I know we'll spend most of the night laughing. I have some translation to do for Antonia too, so we'll head there about 6 ish.

I took Billy out early to miss the worst of the heat, we walked 4 miles and were home by 8.30. John's just gone for his bike ride and then we're off into Birmingham this afternoon.

I went and stayed with Dad and s/mother when ours was being done, much the easiest way.
Ton result re the ducks! Sounds like a fun evening.

Several of us neighbours are going to the pub down the lane for lunch today, I'm so glad the weather's good as their garden is gorgeous with plenty of umbrellas

We're having a lazy day sitting in the garden, papers to read first and then a book. Just realised it was yesterday 2 years ago we got the keys to this place, lovely to be able to enjoy it without any hassle.

Afternoon all, lovely day here too. Spent some time in the sun this morning, but it has clouded over quite a bit now, still warm though. Not doing very much, Mr Osc is watching golf and I'm reading, also awaiting replies to texts I've sent out about the annual fun golf game we have every year, with the men playing golf, us ladies having lunch with lots of chat then all of us meeting up in the pub in the evening.
