Good morning.

Scorchio.

We had a superb flight home last night, landed at 10.20 and as we were in seats 4A & 4B we were virtually first off the plane, straight through border control, jumped in a taxi and were home by 11.10!

I always have a smashing time in the UK but this trip was out of this world. Seeing so many friends, visiting so many great places and spending so much time with family members made for a very special and loving holiday.

As it's 6 weeks to Norway

the trainers are back on this morning for a good long run! :lol:

A swim when I get back then it'll be laundry Lulu time. :lol:

Conor's coming over for lunch.

I plan to chill out tonight and watch some TV - I haven't done that for 2 weeks! :lol:

Morning Ally (e bem vindo) and everyone

Lovely morning, heading into a heatwave for the next few days.

A late night last night, really good fun, but too much booze and cake :lol:

which was also filled with booze

Off to Ourique soon, before it gets too hot to do some bits and bobs, will do the supermarket run too.

Back to chill and down to the bar later, as Antonia is taking the rest of the cake down there, so they can have some too.

Plain burgers and chips for dinner and not a lot of wine

Glad you had a good flight Ally and that is good - 40 mins from landing to being home; nice one! Enjoy your day doing all the bits and bobs.
Jan, glad you had a lovely evening last night and I'm sure the group at the bar will appreciate the cake. Fingers crossed the heatwave isn't too bad - how hot are they expecting?

Usual work day for me, but out tonight. Back in September last year I came across an article on this https://www.hrp.org.uk/tower-of-london/ ... gs.pSZbS5o so I had a look online to see what it was about and ended up booking 6 tickets for tonight. It's quite a late start to the event - 21h30 so it'll be a late night home, but sounds very interesting.

We had just the best rain yesterday evening and all through the night. The ground got a good gentle soaking so hopefully the grass will green up a bit again.
