Thanks all, we must've been added onto the start of the clinic - hadn't heard of the NHS holding evening outpatient clinics before.
I've just popped around to the GPs, they're open on Saturday mornings but don't take phone calls, and booked him in for a blood test on Monday.

Been blowy here all day Saundra! I washed all of the dogs' soft toys, and their sleeping mats! They got dry on the line, but the dogs went nuts!

A couple of moans today.

Took Joe for his blood test and gave the nurse the blood form. Apparently, because it was issued by Stoke and we fall under Wolverhampton's hospital trust, it had to be redone on a Wolverhampton form, they'll run the tests and I'll have to go to the surgery to pick up a print out of the results which I'll then have to pass onto Stoke...because Wolverhampton can't communicate with Stoke.

Secondly, when we took Bill to the vets last Tuesday we gave them a claim form to fill out for us, obviously they have to tick a few boxes and stamp and sign it and we paid the admin fee - and we both heard the receptionist say that they'd then send it onto Petplan within 48 hours which is what has always happened. I had a call this afternoon to let me know that the form was ready for us to collect. Apparently we were misinformed and they no longer send them on, in case they get lost in the post and they have to take responsibility. Of course, if we send it and it gets lost in the post then we'll have to submit another form to them and pay their flippin' admin fee again!

Mick has bought me a new phone, as I was moaning about the lack of storage space on my old one. Very sweet of him, and it is lovely - a Moto G5 - but I hate getting used to new technology. I will get the hang of it eventually - I usually do  :cute:
