A swim later then plan to relax for the rest of the day - I'm done with gallivanting this weekend.

Another day of sunshine/showers forecast here, but Harry is coming to stay again Mick is picking him up later Before that we are out for the papers, and a fry up for Mick in Sainsbury's cafe, to set him up for the drive. I'll just have a cuppa B is working today, so I'll have a quiet afternoon to get on with yet more washing and ironing and any other houseworky stuff

Heavy rain last night, but it's bright and sunny at the moment.

Fingers tightly crossed it stays dry for the drive up to Wilts. the M25 is horrid at the best of times, much worse with rain and spray. Eldest daughter's on holiday in Spain so no ticking clock to get there in time for lunch, takes the pressure off a little.

Nice at the moment but forecast is rain later.
Have picked 6 kilos of Damsons and there is plenty left.
Will ask neighbours if they want some as we won`t use them all.
Now there is a glut of Pears ripening followed by 2 trees laden with
Apples. The weather must have been perfect for fruit this year.
The only things we miss out on are the Cherries as the birds get there
first!!

Late start after a rather late night - brilliant night last night,

A quiet day, the wind has dropped so Grumpy will carry on with the painting of the pool wall.
