The only thing our days have in common is the coffee Ally

It's dull, decidedly cool, and raining on and off. Not much improvement for the next few days at least.
Support group this morning, shorter than usual so we can have Pimms (in the garden, ha ha); my little cheesy biscuits will be taken.

Well I didn't get my quiet, houseworky day yesterday either! D rang and had had some sad news about a friend passing away, so I went up there with teacakes and sympathy. Then home, to cut H's hair which had suddenly become urgent - apparently - then prepare dinner (sausages, cheesy mash, and veg), before rushing off to Pilates

Today is food shopping, Morrison's with D. H might come, although I suspect that might have more to do withwanting a milkshake and a slice of something in the cafe afterwards Gawd, that boy can eat!

started rally dull and cold this morning here as well Di, but the sun seems to be trying to come out so fingers crossed for your Pimms in the garden. And LOL at B hoping the ladies won't like the cheesy biscuits - as if

usual usual for me again today which is nice - I'm exhausted. Dinner last night was lovely - we went to a super restaurant in Surbiton; the food was amazing, the two waitresses really lovely but time between courses was dire - it took so long for the food to come out the kitchen. The booking was for 7.30pm and Anne (my friend from SA) was hoping to be on a 10pm train; by that time we hadn't even had our dessert yet; and we had to chase that. So we all ended up on a train around the 11pm mark which meant getting to bed at midnight... normally not a problem but not fun when the alarm goes off at 5.30am the next morning But the food was amazing and worth waiting for.

It is easy shopping as they are together and free parking.

Spain has sent us 150 firefighters, as we have yet another fire lit by a barsteward in Nisa, which is up where the other 5 big fires are and they're now desperate for help.

A late start for us, after a very late night. We had a Sri Lankan curry, lots of beer, wine, madronia, brandy (no I didn't have one of each, just wine and a small brandy) brilliant company and brilliant food.

Done the watering, Jose Felipe almost got the soaking this morning will b staying in or in the pool today and popping down to the bar later, not been down all week

Kaz, best not to let H come with you, he'll be putting all sorts of stuff in your trolley
