Good idea Ally, and Jo. I put condolences, from myself not mentioning VV, but knowing Weka doesn't come here every day I thought rather than messages getting lost on a daily thread I would start a separate thread, so she would see it, when she does visit, and know we are thinking of her xxx

Thank everyone. I loved seeing you on fb, so much so I logged in here tonight. I've dropped off the social media world lately.
Thanks for the separate thread, I'd never have found your comments with the daily threads.

I miss my nana already.

For those not on FB, here's my post.

My Nana passed away 2 days ago after a stroke a week ago.

I have no words to express the sorrow we are feeling, but on the whole we are fine, especially knowing you don't have to suffer the effects of stroke anymore.

You always made sure we ate our hots first, had thirds even if the first helping was enough, that our kidneys were warm, we were wearing a shimmy shirt and not sitting in a draught.

I remember your numerous craft projects on the go, the secret container with lollies in, you tucking me in extra tight at night and you whistling tunes as you worked.

So many happy memories. Nana, I'm going to miss you
