Morning all its not raining yet but forecast for later was going to local coop but gypsies are camped on the school field opposite there and it's chaos in coop half of them shopping in the dressingowns It's a shame they are trying to get them of the field but it's taking time bet the school field will be in a right state Hope you all have a good day

Yesterdays film Dunkirk was brilliant, very emotional and I must admit I cried. My Uncle Harold, mothers oldest brother, was one of the soldiers rescued and he never recovered from the trauma. There wasn't much help in those days and he became a voluntary outpatient at a psychiatric hospital, eventually admitting himself. Sadly he agreed to electric shock treatment which completely finished him and he died there when I was in my teens

Not much planned for today, need to pop out for some shopping and that's about it.

Good afternoon all, it's been raining on and off all morning. Still, Billy had a dry walk for all but 10 minutes of it as I took him out very early.

I've done some shopping this morning and some cleaning, I've just had to shut the windows as the house opposite are having some landscaping done by the looks of things and the builders are tipping soil and rubble into a flat bed truck and it's so noisy. They seem to be doing it in a relay as it's almost constant and it's strange as it's always so quiet around here.

Jen my uncle Bill was at Dunkirk, I don't know what he did but apparently was mentioned in dispatches.

Well it's raining and the plan this week when Scarlett came for a visit was to go down the beach but the rain put paid to that but she is so cute made me laugh
Jen my uncle was rescued from Dunkirk my dad was in Burma fighting the japs they had no help after the war everybody just got on with life it wasn't mentioned in those days

John and Joe are going to see Dunkirk on Friday night I think. I'm kind of put off because one of the annoying little boys out of One Direction is in it and I reckon the cinema will be full of his fangirls

Don't be put off Jo, yes Harry Styles from One direction is in it, but he's actually very good (I'm definitely not a fan of the group) and we didn't see any fangirls yesterday.
