Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 04 Aug 2017, 05:59

Good morning. :D :D

8am and it's really, really hot. 8-) 8-)

Swim shortly then coffee and bacon butties. :D :D

Picking Jacob up from the airport tonight at 10pm - he'll just dump his bag then we'll go out for a few beers. Lucky for him he's left a load of summer clothes here as he sure as hell won't need owt else.

He's here for 2 weeks (funny how he's timed it to be here for the Malaga feria! ) and then he's off to India for two weeks.

Kaz - happy birthday to B. I hope she has a lovely day and enjoys her cake. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Saundra. That does sound like a cracking holiday for Jacob, Ally.

Just had an absolute downpour here but it's now sunny. Shopping and the dentist for me today. :(

Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning all - thanks for the birthday wishes for B, will pass them on! Just about now, 22 years ago, I went into what turned into a very dangerous labour for us both, so I am very glad to have had the last 22 years and my lovely daughter 8-) :) Sorry, in a reflective mood this morning for some reason  It would also have been my lovely Nan's birthday today, if she'd still been with us :)

We are going out for a family meal tonight :) Food shopping with D this morning :) B is out celebrating with her friends tomorrow night

Ally,enjoy having J home :Hi:

Morning Saundra :) xx

Ugh Crommers, hope your appointment is as trouble free as mine was on Wednesday! xxx

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning everyone

Cool ish at the mo, but hotting up 8-) Much prefer living here, we get cooler nights, so can sleep much better :D :D

Happy Birthday to B xx

Have a lovely catch-up with Jacob Ally x

Off to Ourique soon, send to post me gogs off and then Grumpy and Antonia are seeing the doc. He mumbles and neither of us can really understand him too well. it's okay for mundane stuff, but this is important, so Antonia is the official translater. Also Grumpy is going deaf, but won't admit it

Bits and bobs to do when we get back and out to Aldeia de Palheiros tonight, for the party and food.

Have a good day everyone whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all.

It's warm and sunny here at the moment.- what's to come is anyone's guess.

Not much planned for today - just a lazy one !

Hope you are all OK.

Usual work day for me and tonight the first of cat sitting duties or a neighbour; she'll be back Saturday next week at some time in the day so I'm popping round 2x a day.

Morning all..........well almost

Kaz happy birthday to B.

Just been very reliably advised by a friend the candles in Aldi, obviously not advertised as Jo Malone, genuinely are. They're near the cleaning products priced £3.99. A great bargain, just goes to show how overpriced 'named' stuff really is.

I always buy my lipliner pencil from Body Shop, they're a bit expensive at £8 but last me for at least 2/3 years. Popped in yesterday and they were giving 30% off if you took a loyalty card. I doubt I'll ever use my card as lipliner's the only product I buy from them, but hey ho never say no when it means you can walk out having paid just £5.60, my bargain of the week :D

Need to pop into town for a few bits, but as we got up so late will have to be this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Afternoon :)
After a dull start it's lovely here, bright and sunny and a much nicer light breeze helping to dry the towels.

Happy birthday to Becky, enjoy your meal :)

Ria I remember your tales of those cats x

Been to craft and chat this morning, I do love Fridays, and came home with a little bag of gorgeous tiny multi-coloured tomatoes too :D

Hope you're all having a good day
