Another hot day.

Been for a quick run and now showered and ready for work.

Finish at 1pm then home to get 2 bedrooms ready for the Harrington's yearly visit tomorrow.

Popping into town tonight for a couple of beers and a bite to eat.

Good Morning all,
This is funny old weather at the moment.
While you have been complaining up north about the rain
and cold we have had lovely weather down in Kent.
Today it has all changed. It is raining hard, windy and cold.
Got to go out in it as Don has a hearing test at the Doctors at
11am to see if he needs a hearing aid or if it is selective deafness
as he seems to hear other people ok--it is just me he can`t hear.

Wet and miserable here, the forecast isn't good for the next week or so. Not ideal weather for my sister and BIL arriving from Oz on Saturday.

Last day for the boys, Z will be here around 12ish and we're going over the road to the Racing Greyhound for Zachery's pre birthday lunch, he'll be 13 on Monday.

I was getting low on painkillers so the receptionist sent through a prescription, means I have to see the doctor at 5.30 today. Afterwards think we'll do the big shop, hate going in the evening, but really need tomorrow to sort the house ready for Saturday.

Morning everyone

We're having weird weather too Lissie - stinking hot one day, cooler a lot cooler, the next. Today is going to be inbetween

Today we're going to do what w were supposed to do yesterday. But we were told there was burst water main in the middle of Ourique and a lot of offices and shops were shut, as there wasn't any water Hoping all is okay today.

You're getting the weather we had a couple of days ago Lissie. It rained steadily all day Tuesday and didn't stop until 8 am Wednesday morning, and it was windy too. Very nice here atm though, sunny and calm. This afternoon we're going blackberrying again, it's a really good year for them.

It's cloudy-bright here, and I don't know what its going to do.

I'm off to the doctors soon to have my blood coagulation checked, but I've nothing else
planned for the rest of the day. Wish I could join Cromwell with the blackberry picking !

It has certainly been a good year for some fruit. My Damson tree was overflowing with fruit.
I picked what i could but there must be at least 20 kilos left on it too high to reach.
I have made Jam and frozen some and bored the neighbours asking if they wanted some but
only one said yes. I gave jam to the boy next door and he said it was delicious so that pleased me.
I am going to have a go at Damson Gin today.
The Pear tree has masses of fruit and the Apple trees are laden.
The neighbours won`t say no to a bag of Apples i bet

well, another usual / usual for me. The weather is meant to brighten up for the rest of the week and the weekend, very welcome after the rain yesterday. Just under 2" / 5cm according to the gauge in the garden.

Good morning all, it's lovely here this morning.

Billy had a very early walk as I wanted to be back to see Tom off, he's gone to get the train to go and to see Shannon for the day and we're driving over to pick him up from her house tonight. I'm just waiting for the washing machine to finish doing it's job.

Crommers, I've been picking blackberries this morning. I ate them all as we walked though They were lovely!
