It'll be like transfer day at a holiday resort here today!

I'm taking Jacob to the airport at 9am as him and a couple of mates are hiring a car from there and they're off to Faro for a few days. They have a tent packed and will pitch up somewhere.

I'm at the airport again at 11.45 to pick up our friends Toni & Pete and their lad Pierce. They come over every year and we always look forward to a hooley together.

That's my day sorted then!

Good morning Ally and all, it's a sunny one here.

Just off to walk Billy now and then I'll do some housework.

Had a nice evening last night. We drove over to Ashbourne to pick Tom up from Shannon's house and got invited in for coffee, we had a lovely hour chatting with her parents.

Ally, I can't believe it's time for Toni, Pete and Pierce to come over again! Have fun!

another usual / usual for me today. Last night of cat sitting and I'll be glad when it's done. The cats are all lovely and sweet and I really don't mind looking after them, but the house is in a horrid state and I really feel for the cats. Three of them are used to having outdoor access but because I'm not there to let them back in they have to all stay inside whilst T is away and it's now getting to them. She's back tomorrow in the course of the day thankfully

Lovely sunny morning here and apparently meant to be a lovely day. And weekend is promising more of the same which means I can get started with clearing my allotment - hugely excited about that

Food shopping this morning, then I really must do the ironing Becky got her final pay from Hallmark this morning - the overtime rate they promised her for all the extra hours she did! It was more than she'd expected so she's happy

Morning all, there was rain during the night but the sun seems to be making an effort now. I am off to the gym soon, otherwise it is h/work for the rest of the day. Going dancing tonight.

It's quite grey here now and it's very breezy. Had a lovely long walk with Billy while the sun was shining though, we were out for nearly 2 hours which included him having a manic run around a freshly raked bunker on the golf course.

Kaz, hope that B enjoys spending her overtime money!

We'd met them before Ria, we were all at a Rememberance Day parade in Wolverhampton last year as two of the flat mates are in the armed forces so we all went along to support them and then went for a meal afterwards. They're a really lovely couple.
