Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 12 Aug 2017, 05:26

Good morning. :D

Hot. 8-) 8-)

Whilst Mr & Mrs Harrington are sleeping off yesterday's shenanigans  their son Pierce and I will be having a swim.

The two of us are then going to walk into town for a bacon pitufo and a coffee. His treat. :D :D :D

Early afternoon we'll drive the family over to their holiday apartment in Riviera. We'll get them settled and come back for a bit of a rest.

Tonight Don and I are going to a birthday party. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all :D

It rained overnight, but is beginning to look as though we're in for some sunshine.

Rushing around getting ready for the drive up to Heathrow, arriving early means ridiculous car parking charges, but we'll give ourselves lots of time, the M25 is so unpredictable.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all :)

Ally, that all sounds great fun! :D :D

Have a nice relaxing day Jan :) xx

Jen I hope you have the most amazing reunion with your sister! Safe journey xxxxx :D :D

Well the sun is trying to shine here, and the forecast is ok, so fingers crossed! We'll be going down to Corretto's shortly, as per! No doubt B will join us, if she's recovered from last night's cavortings - we heard her tiptoe in, in the early hours   No D today, she's going down to the inlaws in Weymouth for a few days, they are driving up to collect her this morning :) I shall nip up there on Monday to make sure everything is ok, and to water the greenhouse.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning :)
Nice day here :)

Ally I could just fancy a bacon pitufo :)
Ton athletics here too, decathlon today! and some cricket too :)
Jen I hope the drive isn't too bad x

Bb's out working. There's a seafood festival in town, but we plan on going tomorrow. Summer Saturdays the town is gridlocked with both cars and people.
Have a good day all

Work as usual for me this morning. One of these days I WILL start getting a four day weekend, and drop those Saturdays for good!

Whilst I was at work, Tom took Lewis for his first ever park run, registered him in the week. Tom's been before, went last week on his own for the first time in ages but he liked it and when Lewis was free this week, he said he'd take him along. Fantastic achievement, both ran together all the way, in 27 minutes 50! :D :D Soooo proud of Lewis, he's such a little athlete, he came second in his age group, and the other lad was about 11 or 12! 8-) Tom said it was the best run he'd ever had, felt so good to be running with his grandson :D

We might have gone out for a walk or something this afternoon but it's sunshine and showers, mostly the latter and mostly heavy!!!

Have a fab Saturday xxx

Evening all, the day just got away from me  We were up and out early to go into town, as Mr Osc wanted to go to a particular hardware shop to get something he hasn't been able to get elsewhere. I can't remember when we last took the car into town, we usually go by bus or train but either would have been quite a walk to the shop he wanted. At €6.40 for two hours parking, thankfully it doesn't happen too often

When we got back we had lunch, then I started pottering about, one thing led to another and I ended up preparing my toiletries for our next holiday, decanting into smaller containers and so on - I know it is five weeks away, but it's done now! We've had our dinner and himself is waiting for the American golf to start - I will sew or read. Off to make a cuppa now :)
