Morning all, it's a nice day here. We have a nice day planned with our friends N and A. Mr Osc and N will play golf, A and myself will have lunch here then go for a good walk. Later we will have a meal in one of the local restaurants. Better go and tidy up the house! Jen, that is hard xxx

Good morning all, it's a lovely one here.

I took Billy out just before 7 and it was gorgeous; a proper dewy, sunny but misty Autumn morning. We got back around 8.30 and I did a load of washing so that's out drying now and then a pile of ironing from yesterday. Hopefully it'll stay dry so that I can cut the lawns later. I'll have a clean around the house too so that there's not much to do over the weekend.

Tom was planning on moving back to Wolverhampton today but he's decided to stay until Monday now. It sounds awful but I was so looking forward to getting the house back to normal this weekend without there being used crockery and glasses on the surfaces, on the floor, balancing on the arms of the sofa...wet towels balled up and strewn on the landings, shoes kicked off and left in doorways...and him taking up almost permanent residence in our en suite!! I'd also like to see what colour his bedroom carpet is too because it's been so long since I've been able to see it and I can't remember :P

Jen, I hope that you can get something done about your hip so that you can visit your sister. Take it easy xx

Saundra, you have a tan!? I have a few freckles on my hands and forehead and that's it

Kaz, is M enjoying salsa then?

Have a good day all!

Good morning all. And what a lovely morning it is here, too.

I've been for a somewhat painful walk to get my daily paper, and we're going into town this afternoon.
I'm determined I'm not going to stop walking as I've seen what that does to many of the residents here.
My Monday's doctors appointment still seems a long way off though.

Congratulations on the 14 years Ally.

I was lucky, there were only two English outside the café

Bumped into another Jan and she told me it was coffee morning, so that's where they all were ;) They ring a bell, to tell you when you can start asking for cake  :? :?

Jen, hope you can get over to Oz x If you do, look up some great friends of mine ;) Not seen them for 15 years, apart from on fb.

Afternoon all :)
Lovely morning here, it's clouding over now but hopefully staying ok for the air show.

Jen that is a tough goodbye (((xx)))
Sounds like a lovely day Kaz :)
Well done Aggers x

I've been to craft this morning, much chat and a bit of craft :)
We had to plan our Grand Day Out :D
Monday is the last of no yoga so instead of just meeting for a walk and coffee we're going to the Isle of Wight :D
Just as foot passengers, ferry to Yarmouth, find somewhere for coffee, have a wander, find somewhere for lunch... :D
Seven of us going, looking forward to it :)

Hope you're all having a good day
x

We've been to Oz twice before Ria, the last time was about 10yrs ago, and it is a lovely country. We always planned to go again, but there was mother to consider so it just didn't happen. Got to wait for the MRI results to see what can be done about my hip, not expecting to hear anything for another 3 weeks. Hopefully if I do need a replacement the waiting lists aren't ridiculously long, sadly I've read some operations are being rationed, so who knows.....

Ria yes, she starts the new job on Monday and can't wait 8-) :)

Jo I think so, but his feet don't seem to get the message  :? He is certainly enjoying the social side though, the four of us get on very well :D

Had a lovely lunchtime in Cheltenham, was really nice to catch up and little Theo - R's grandson - has really grown! :D
