:o :o    ouch! but that really is bad of the insurance guy to not have known that and told you that you can order them and then claim back. What a waste of your time!

Definitely time to find a new insurance company me thinks or are you quite limited over there? x

We'll be going to see Manuel in Ourique, once I get the money.

Our insurance runs out at the end of October, so perfect timing ;)

I've always gone for "proper" lenses Kaz, rather than generic, so what with the anti-glare, anti-scratch (unless you fall down face first, of course) tinted, reacalite and varifocal, it amounts to 377€ each lens

The frame is actually cheaper this year than last and the lenses are still the same price.

But I only got 10% discount, not 20% and that has mad a huge difference.

Should be ready next week :Hi: :Hi:

When we get over to England next year, I'm going to pop into specsavers and get Julia to send them over, once ready :D :D :D I need spares

I like the sound of that Saundra! I got two pairs of glasses in the summer, there was a deal if you got one set of reactolite lenses, you got a second non-reactolite pair free although you would pay for frames. I had not had reactolite lenses before although Mr Osc has had them for years, but had decided to get them. So I got the whole lot for €510 - I figure if you need to wear glasses, get what you like because you wear them so much. I do wish though that I could just buy those straightforward short sightedness ones you can get in Boots!

That sounds identical to the one D has, even the colour! She got it a year or so ago, and says it was money very well spent! ;) 8-)
