When mum got her varifocals they made them specifically so that the 'bottom part' was for reading and the 'top part' for distance.

Hers also cost a lot of money and she paid extra so's not to have a 'line' on the lens. iyswim. :D

And I don't have a line either. But I do have anti-scratch, anti-glare and photochromic lenses. hence the cost :cute: :cute: And Jose in the bar spent 1,250€ on his :shock: :shock: :o

I have varifocals, but I find that using them for reading makes my neck ache, as I have to lift my
chin up to use the bottom portion of the lens. I find that I can read more comfortably using a pair
of magnifying glasses that I bought at Boots for less than £10.

We always think it's warmer than the forecast Di, by anything up to 5C, because you're in a sort of inlet :D :D
