We went into town on the bus yesterday and I managed quite well. Even did a bit of a tidy up in the front garden. No plans for today, might take advantage of this lovely weather and get more done in the back garden later.

We are in Maderia today. It is sunny.
Went into Funchal. Did some window shopping and had a drink.
There have been a lot of changes since we came and stayed here over 30 years ago.
Two other cruise ships in as well as ours.
Just checking on emails.

The parcels have just arrived so I'll go and cut the lawns now! Ria, it's so difficult to get them cut at this time of year isn't it, and the nights are drawing in so quickly.

Becky is feeling a bit better thanks, seems to a 24hr thing going round at work as another employee was down with it as well apparently! She's out on the field with Peps and Fraggle at the moment, so they are fulfilling their duties Ria

Coming home from holidays and having to catch up with jobs is always the worst bit, Ria and Osc xxx

The sun came out here mid morning and it's been sunny ever since! I walked into town to pick up a few bits I didn't get the chance to yesterday, then up to see D

Both looking well despite Ton's cold, the good life obviously suits them

It was lovely - but I felt dreadful, so had to leave about 3 hours earlier than I wanted. And then felt dreadful, having to lav so early too

I'm just about to go to bed, having had probably 4 hours sleep since Sunday

Me too - we're off for a week next week, up to our caravan! Hope it's sunny in Northumberland

Sorry to hear there have been some poorly peeps, I am one of them atm, got a nasty sore throat (swallowing razor blades!) but hopefully It will pass soon. Hope everyone feels better soon xx
