Things never go to plan, do they?
The blood place was shut - she's got flu
- so I went to the other one in Ourique. But then, of course, so had everyone else
And as I hadn't been thee before, had to go through the palaver of registering
Blood done, not a mark or bruise
results next Thursday, which is longer than I wanted, but hey ho.
Supermarket packed, heaving, with English
everywhere I went, I could hear English being spoken. And of course, I knew a few and had to stop
So that took longer, the chemist was also busy and I didn't have time to pop into Sonia's and have a coffee and breakfast before meeting Steve and Jan.
They followed me, we left their camper at th bar and they came up here. Loved it
Even the grumpy old person that Steve is
Just taken them back to the bar, directed them to the IC1 and just had my rather late breakfast.
Odette told me earlier that the feijao man will be at the bar tomorrow afternoon. So I'll buy some dried beans and sweet potatoes and see what else he has.
So now a quiet afternoon, snoozing, probably, before heading back down to the bar for a beer or three.
