Good morning. :D

Beautiful day forecast. 8-) 8-)

Hairdresser Eduardo coming round to cut my hair at 10.30. :D

I'm then going on me 'olidays.

Some friends are over for a week's holiday in Benalmadena and Don & myself have booked into a hotel very near theirs so that's where we're off to this afternoon. Once we've checked in we'll walk down to Cath & Mick's hotel and spend the rest of the day and evening with them. :D :D

Tomorrow morning after breakfast we'll pick the parentals up and we're all going over to Conor & Lucia's and then we're all going out for lunch. :D :D

Busy busy weekend.

Have a great one everyone.

Morning Ally and everyone

Another cloudy start to a day but lovely sunshine is forecast ;)

Have a great week-end Ally, sounds fun :Hi: :Hi:

Washing machine on, watering and weeding to be done and also I'll do the prep for a chicken curry for later.

The highlight of our day will be going down to the bar    and to get some dried beans and batata doce 8-) 8-)

Still coughing, but it's not so prolonged or sore today. Grumpy and his man flu are surviving and will be carrying on putting battens and tiles on the new roof :D :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever the weather xx

Morning :)
Hmmph. Dull and grey and wet and chilly out there...
On the plus side, Bb's collecting Minnie in an hour :Hi:

I must say our journey home was very smooth, arrived at the airport to queue for bag drop to find no queue at all!
Security ditto, straight through!
Landed early at 4.20 and were at Bb's mum and dad's just after 5 :)

Sounds like a fab weekend Ally :)
Glad you're feeling better Ton x

Hope everyone has a good day

Morning! Dull and grey here, very still. The calm before the storm maybe. I'm glad you had a smooth journey back Di, and enjoy your holiday Ally. Hope the cough is vanquished soon Jan.
Not much on here, might go to Wakefield soon.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all, it's pouring down here. I got out very early with Billy though and we were home just before it started at 8.

Tom's at work, Joe's in bed and I'm just waiting for John to fit a new light fitting in the hall and then we're off to Stafford for a mooch. The light fitting he's replacing is one of those silly ones which only takes very expensive energy saving 3 pronged bulbs which are really hard to find, some stupid directive about having so many energy saving fittings in new builds. He already replaced one upstairs a couple of years ago and the bulb went in this one the other day so it's easier and cheaper to fit an old style fitting and use a conventional bulb. That's our two fingers up at authority.

Off to see my parents this afternoon, cut my Mom's hair, then pick Tom up from work, feed them all, cut Tom's hair and then they're off to Wales to stay the night with John's mom.

Have a good day all.

Evening all, it's been a lovely day here although chilly when in the shade or the sun goes behind a cloud. I ironed the entire pile of ironing this morning, was rather pleased with myself, although of course there will be more very soon  We had lunch, then I paid the balance due on our Washington apartment after which we did some research for our trip. We went for a walk down to the harbour and had an icecream, then came back so himself could watch the ManU match (during which I fell asleep ;) ) Just about to have our dinner, and looking forward to Strictly.

Evening everyone :)

Meant to check in earlier, but the day sort of ran away with me! Had our usual Saturday lunch out, then went to see D. We are out to an 80th at the rugby club tonight, and I've just chipped my nails sorting out Harry's wardrobe and drawers  Better sort them out now ;)

Jo I absolutely hate energy saving bulbs, as I can barely see with my wonky eyesight! I'd love to teplace ours ewith the old style, so good for you! :D
