Good Morning all on this grey and murky day.
Hoefully it will brighten up later.
Good luck, Jen. Where are you going-Margate, Ashford or Canterbury as
they seem to be run as one hospital now and it is the luck of the draw.
Good luck at the drs Ton.
My chest was hurting so much where i fell on Sunday that i went to the
walk in clinic at Whitstable for advice. I was examined and told that it was
possible that i had cracked a rib but they don`t x-ray them anymore or strap
them up as it is better to just let them heal and take pain killers. He suggested
6 Ibuprofen and 8 Paracetamol a day as they don`t interact with each other and
it will take about 3 weeks to improve.
Must go shopping as son and family are calling tomorrow and the two terrors are
always hungry!!
Sainsburys have got their 25% of TU clothing and M&S have £10 meal deal.

Morning all

it's only 09h30 and already 11 posts on here - give a girl a chance

Good luck Jen and Ton with your respective appointments
Lissie, ouch - but have heard that as well that they don't strap up anymore. Thanks also for the heads up re TU - I'm in dire need of some tops so may just go by there this evening on my way home to see what they have. I struggle trying to find tops that are a bit longer and cover the waist and hips!
Di, if you have the ingredients in the house or easy to get them, then this is a fab recipe: http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/chick ... sala_60943 I made it the first time replacing the marsala with ruby port and I think it worked just as well

Hope everyone else has a lovely day shopping, houseworking, mooching, gardening or doing what ever it is you're up to x

Good morning all, it's beautiful here and quite mild too. We did have a lot of rain overnight though and me and Billy had a very muddy - and dark! - walk at 6.45. I had my torch though and by the time we were heading home an hour later it was lovely and bright.

I went early as I wanted to do some shopping, pop to the post office and then be home to make sure that Joe was up and ready for his driving lesson this morning.

We went to Ikea last night. I wanted some more cushions for the living room. We had a debate a while back - I couldnt decided between orange or red cushion covers, John thought red would be best so we got those. When we got home and put them on I hated them but they've eventually grown on me so we got some more last night. Also bought a Christmas tin of their ginger thin biscuits. Joe loves them and has had a tin for Christmas for many years apart from last year when they'd sold out when we got over there so I thought I'd get them while I saw them this time.

Good luck Jan and Jen!

Aww Kaz, that's gone quick. Hopefully he'll be back before long xx

Have a good day all!

Morning Ria, hope you find some good bargains if you pop in ;)

Jo, I'd have liked him to stay until the seeks, but he has his part time job with Brightlights on Thursday evenings. The biscuits for Joe made me smile - I bought a couple of Christmas tins of shortbread while they are half price at M&S, and am sending one back with Harry

I love autocorrect, can't work out what the seeks was meant to be Kaz :D

Even better, have just had to add autocorrect to the autocorrect dictionary

Ria that is a lovely recipe, I have made it with sherry, but forgot Bb is going out late because he won't be back till about nine. Think I'll make spicy carrot soup.

It's a gorgeous day now, sunny and warm, glad we got the bedding washed :D

Afternoon all, we got up quite late - I was awake during the night but then slept until 9.15 and we dozed on for another while. It's a nice bright day although we are finding it a bit chilly. We've had breakfast and Mr Osc is doing music for a friend's social dance on Saturday,, he is trying to find some decent Halloween music for dancing and it is not easy  We have to do the supermarket shop as we have very little food in the house and of course there is more washing to be done....post holiday joy

I couldn't work out seeks either, Di
