Sun is out and it will be a lovely day - just in a couple of hours, when it hots up

We're on the car insurance hunt today. Our current insurers are very expensive, we think, so it's try Manuel in Ourique or and Vanda in Castro. Also need to gt a few bits and bobs sorted in Ourique, get the stuff to over-winter the pool, try and pay Joao Luis - again - and pick up a few things I forgot yesterday, from Pingo . I forgot to take my list

Will be popping down to see this exercise bike/cross trainer later and if they don't want silly money, will buy it.

It's damp and gloomy here, and altogether too quiet Think I'll go into town, pick up some teacakes (D's favourite treat) and take them up there! She has a cold, so it might cheer her up I was thinking of getting my hair cut today, but that can wait until next week Pilates tonight

Good morning, popping in quickly while Mr Osc has taken Kellie for a walk around the block. It's dull but quite mild. Usual child-minding Thursday!

Good morning all, it's gone pretty grey here but it's still mild.

Billy's had a big long walk and I've had fun kicking up leaves. They've been a bit soggy up until now but they were lovely and dry in the one part of the wood this morning

Next on the agenda is to rake up the leaves in the garden from next door's trees. I've got to wash my hair at some point today too, it's scraped back in a ponytail at the moment. I hate washing and drying my hair. It's not even because it's long now and takes a bit more time - I still hated doing it when it was short and took all of five minutes from start to finish

Di, what are you working on now?

Kaz, that's a lovely idea to cheer up D! I hope she's feeling better soon.

Without a picture to copy from, it's ever so hard to get the shape just right, and where does the wing end...
The colouring too, we all see plenty of robins but once you try to recreate one from memory it's hard
