A lazy morning planned then this afternoon we're off to a BBQ to celebrate a silver wedding anniversary.

Lovely start to the day, cold but clear, and it's going to be a beautiful day, maybe not quite as gorgeous as yesterday.

The weather even affected Minnie, she usually sleeps the afternoon away but she told me, as clearly as if she had actually spoken, I want a walk!!
She put her paws on my lap, went to the door, came back, sat looking at me, head on one side, went to the door...needless to say we went for a walk

Bb will be working, I shall get some washing done and then do as I please

Di, how clever of Minnie - that definitely was telling you. And such a beautiful day yesterday for it

Well towels washed last night, bedding in the machine at the moment and then all to be dried outside - nice! Di, we have the same weather here, crispy cold at the moment but fairly clear and promising to be a good day. I'm off to the shops in a bit and then to the allotment for a few hours. The bit that I managed to clear no doubt will have become totally overgrown again as I haven't had a chance to get there in a while So today is to clear again, put cardboard over it and then soil over that.

Will probably make a roast chicken with veg etc for dinner tonight - been fancying that for a while.

Washing machine on here too and I'll be the domestic goddess this morning. Pasty making this afternoon and will take a couple down to the bar for Mitch - not that he's expecting them.

Will be ringing my little brother later - a very rare event - as he's 60 today

Enjoy your tea and toast Saundra. I need to get in touch with the carpenter, there's a little job that needs doing at my son's house. Some nice days on here, I just wish we had a bit of that Spanish / Portuguese sun instead of the lowering grey clouds that we have!

Bright and sunny here, but a bit nippy.

Usual washing and house stuff here. Need to be ready for an invasion tomorrow. Z,M and the boys are coming for lunch. The two younger ones have been off school, half term, this last week, but Zachery gets two weeks this time for some reason so he's going to stay over with us until Tues. Really looking forward to seeing them all.
