Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 29 Oct 2017, 06:25

Good morning.

Picking mum and dad up and bringing them over for the day. :D

Conor & Lucia are coming too and Jacob's here so the house will be rocking!

I've made quite possibly the world's biggest cottage pie.

Blues v Villa on the box early afternoon so plenty of shouting at the TV.

Tonight we're going to Jose's for a bit of a farewell do - one of the bar staff is off to pastures new and he'll be very much missed. He's a right character. :P :P I bought him a Beatles T-shirt as a gift as he's mad on them!

Have a great day everyone.

ETA just watched a stunning sunrise enjoying a coffee on my terrace. 8-)

Morning Ally, Di and everyone

Gorgeous morning again, chilly at the moment, even in the sun,m but will be another rather hot day 8-)

A general pootling day. Grumpy rendered the outside kitchen walls yesterday, and we need to sort out tiles for the top. Think there are some in the battery store, so they'll do ;)

Steve will be bringing up the new toy sometime today, so a play on that will be in oder

Change of plan for dinner, thought of doing chicken in white wine, but have decided on a bbq instead, so lamb cutlets it is :D

Have a great day with the family Ally x

Enjoy your day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all.

It's sunny here, and no rain is forecast. We're going on our usual Sunday morning walk into town
to have a mooch round the shops.

Hope you are all feeling fine.

Morning all :)

Saundra, they have a bit of a scooter rally at the docks here, most Sundays. Mainly older "Mods" reliving their youth I think :D

Am sure that present will be well received, Ally 8-)

Morning Aggers, Jan and Di :D

Usual quiet Sunday here ;) I didn't get round to getting those bulbs in yesterday, so that's a Job for this afternoon, as the forecast is dry :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Cottage pie Ally! Lovely. Same with the ribs Di. It's roast chicken for us today. Bit chilly for a bbq here Jan! I'd like to be at the rally Saundra, I used to have a Lambretta in the 70's. I sold it for £15!!! Don't do too much in the garden Kaz!

Have a great day everybody.

Morning all - loving this one hour extra we have today; got up usual time and got so much done; I'm quite pleased with myself

Ally enjoy the day with the family - sounds huge fun and enjoy the farewell this evening. Pastures new always exciting for the person leaving
Di, have fun with your respective sporty viewings. And yum - ribs!
Enjoy the BBQ Jan - may as well have them when you can and before it gets too cold to have them. Have fun with the new toy
Saundra, the scooter thing sounds amazing; I can imagine such a buzz? Enjoy it
Aggers enjoy your walk and mooch - perfect way to spend a sunny Sunday
Kaz, enjoy your day pootling in the garden. I'm going to head to a different Sainsbury later day and they have a homebase next to it - so will see what they have in the way of things to plant up. But I won't have time to get anything into the ground today so we'll see....

Had a busy morning, about to pop outside again to sweet the patio and then get the cover over the patio furniture; winter ready. Then after shopping heading over to Karl and Nadine's - Crommers we're having roast chicken as well :D enjoy yours

Have a lovely day everyone x

I will enjoy the chicken Ria. :) I'd love to be in Brid for the scotter rally though, just to hear the put-put-put of the engines and smell the two stroke oil. (and bore MrsC by saying "I used to have one of them!").

Good morning all, it's a lovely one here!

Billy wasn't impressed by this extra hour in bed business so was standing staring at me at 6.30am - that's well past his breakfast time don't you know!! I tried telling him that the clocks had changed but he was having none of it. Still, we had a lovely early walk. John went out on his road bike this morning.

The ironing's done, the kitchen floor has been steam mopped and dinner is all ready to go. We're giving Birmingham a miss this afternoon as the roads will probably be a bit busy, not usually an issue on a normal day but with Sunday trading laws it makes it a bit pointless.

Had an inch cut off my hair yesterday and I've embraced my inner 80s chick and scrunched it this morning

Have a lovely day all!
