Poor lady, I hope they do their job quickly and she's soon much better. Was it last year that she was quite poorly with a cold too or am I dreaming it?

Evening everybody, it was a lovely day here, the temperature got up to 15 degrees  My virus/cold/dose is working its way through my system  so I'm still feeling pretty rubbish. I went back to bed for an hour after breakfast then after lunch we did the supermarket shop. Then I went to the chemist to get a cough bottle, what's causing it is gunk trickling down the back of my throat and causing irritation. I'm doing steam inhalations too which seem to help. Miss Osc phoned just before dinner, she sounds worse than I do, and Mr Osc is just developing it too, so we are a sickly bunch.

We have the children all day tomorrow as it is half term, and we have a day out planned - a trip to a castle with nice grounds not much more than half an hour's drive away. There is a fairy trail and a good playground, we'll bring a picnic and the weather looks reasonable. Then we plan to do nothing over the weekend, just relax and hope that this lurgy decides to move on.
