Morning :)
Beautiful here, albeit cold.

Bacon butties later, bacon from the farm shop.
And we bought our Christmas dinner, they had a small rib of Dexter beef, perfect for two; they're often too big so we grabbed it.

Tonight we're going out for dinner. Friend D is down, with two of her friends, both of which we also know quite well. It's one of them's birthday today, so we're looking forward to that.

Thoughts are with Ally and Don xxx

Hope you all have a good day
x

Evening all
Hope it's not getting too cold there.
We've let our crackers off and have sung songs around the "campfire " otherwise known as the brazier which was standing in for the lack of space for a bonfire. No burning effigies though.
Maggie the 11week old ball of fluff joined us in the backyard (on leash of course) and lived the sparklers, the fountains, buzzy bees, but not so keen on the big shoot in the air and explode with a loud bang ones. Maybe next year.
Kids are now in bed, and hubby and I and the cat are sitting around the fire now listening to the fireworks.
Everything happens for a reason

Good morning all.

It's dry and sunny here at the moment.
We will be taking our usual Sunday morning walk into town soon, looking for bargains.

Enjoy your bonfires tonight!

That sounds like a nice evening Weka.
We got a phone call at 12.45 am last night from someone who enquired if he could order a taxi... MrsC informed him rather warmly that he could not, no.

Nice morning here, a bit chilly though. A bit of shopping and then watching the football, roast chicken and Strictly results tonight.

Have a good day everyone.
