Good morning Ally and all, it's been raining here but looks to have stopped now.

Off out with Billy (and a torch) in a minute. Joe's in college all day today. I did a load of washing last night so I'll get that out on the line when I get back. I'll have a good clean around too so that there's little to do over the weekend.

Have a goood day all!

Just starting to brighten up here, should be fine and bright now.

Art this morning, plus they have their Christmas fayre today and tomorrow, so I shall be buying cards at least.

Hope your days go well

Morning everyone

Lovely sunny morning but chilly. We're down to single figures at night    already :o

Soup making this morning, as we're visiting Mitchell this afternoon and he's not too well. Although he can just about cook for himself, he's living off sandwiches at the moment, so I'll take soup and stew that should keep him going for a few days at least.

Will have a pit-stop at the bar on the way back.

Grumpy will be rendering that last wall of the work-shop, and he can paint it tomorrow. Just needs a door and glass in the window and then it's onto the next project :D my outside kitchen :Hi: :Hi:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

That sounds like a good day Ally and enjoy the art class Di. Well done Grumpy, he sounds like a hard worker Jan. You are a good dog owner Jo!

A lovely autumn morning here. MrsC and our daughter are having a girls day out, I'm doing a bit of shopping and then waiting in for a delivery. Have a good day everybody.

Morning all; warm(ish) but wet here in London - did have a bemused giggle at the station this morning; lady ahead of me wrapped up in scarf and warm jacket but wearing sandels? Like my niece who wears the ugg boots in summer but barefoot in winter - mad

Ally, I'd also be pleased to be back in the warmth - how cold can /does it get over there in the middle of winter?
Jo, hope you get everything done you want to and then can relax with the family over the weekend
Di, enjoy the Christmas Fayre; I do quite enjoy little ones like that; but so often struggle with time to get to them
Jan, soup and stew are always good for the soul and I'm sure Mitchell will appreciate them. Hope the workshop is soon finished and then on to your lovely project; can't wait to see it in person ;)
Crommers, enjoy your day of not having to run after people

usual work day for me, then home via Tesco to fill up the car (10p per litre off voucher); get some bits and bobs for tomorrow and that's about it. Off to Calais tomorrow to get the wine and prosecco for my birthday party in December - the weekends are rushing by now so I need to get things sorted :D. Struggling though with working out how much one should budget per person; so if anyone has any input that would be fab. It'll be a mulled wine evening with about 50 people there of which I worked out about 40 will be wine/prosecco drinkers :o

have a lovely day all x

It's a gorgeous morning here, very sunny. There's a strong wind though so hopefully I can add ironing to my list of jobs later as the rotary line is speeding around.

Cromwell, I don't think I'd be anywhere near as enthusiastic about walking Billy if we didn't have all of this lovely countryside literally right in our doorstep. One minute walk around the corner and there's a path leading onto the common, and three minutes from there and we're in the woods. Several of our dog owning neighbours on the other side of the close have put gates in their fences so that they walk straight onto there.

Hope you have a good day to yourself Cromwell! It makes a change to see you not rushing somewhere!

Ria, safe trip tomorrow!

Di, I love Christmas Fayres, especially if there are craft stalls involved!

Jan, I'm sure the soup will be most welcome!

Morning all :D Glorious sunshine here, always cheers me right up 8-) 8-) Was pleased with myself last night at Pilates when I managed a position nobody else could do  I was as surprised as anyone, to be honest :o :? Think it's called a double leg stretch, Osc might know 8-) I found apic of it online

The Victorian Christmas Market and the ice rink start here next week, which will be lovely :D

Jan, that's really kind 8-) 8-) :D

Enjoy you well-deserved day to yourself Crommers xxx

Morning Jo :)

Ria that made me giggle  I saw a man in shorts and tee shirt yesterday, and the other day a woman in the supermarket wearing a vest top and winter scarf!

Off shopping with D shortly. Have a great day everyone :) xxx

Morning Kaz, blimey that'd take some doing!

The German Market starts in Birmingham next Thursday, right up until Christmas Eve I think. It's smaller this year though due to redevelopment nearby. That'll probably make it twice as crowded, pushing people into a smaller area. The last few years we've gone close to Christmas in the evening and it's not been too busy so we'll probably hold fire until the last week again.
The market in Manchester opens today

There was a man on the common yesterday afternoon in a puffa jacket and shorts

Good Morning all,
Started off very cloudy and dark but now the sun has come through :D
Going to Canterbury to Waitrose for a change of scenery!!!
I put the new John Lewis Christmas ad up for you in case anyone was interested.
I love the backing track but i am not sure if the ad is as good as usual. It did`nt make
me cry as they normally do!!!
Have a good day.
